A/N: Ok, so I said I wasn't doing another poem. Ok, I lied. I couldn't help it. I just felt myself writing it. Hope you like it. Loadsa love from Arwen. Ps. Please review!!!

Sam remembers Frodo now he has left for the Grey Havens

I remember when you were small

But still older than me

That innocent look upon your face

As you looked at me timidly.

I looked after you in times of sadness

You'd just lost your parents after all

But I helped you through it

And suddenly you were no longer so small.

Within weeks you seemed to grow

With more and more strength everyday

You were known as young Frodo Baggins

And I loved you in everyway.

We soon became the best of friends

Together wherever we went

We grew older and wiser together

You were a friend Heaven sent.

Soon you were coming of age

A grown man of thirty three

I was still a few years behind you

But you always stood by me.

Year's later fate fell upon you

You were chosen to go on a quest

You held the Ring of Power

Leading to many months of unrest.

Together we journeyed to Rivendell

Meeting Strider along the way

At first I didn't trust him

But he never led us astray.

I hid at a secret council

Not bearing to leave your side

I came out and said I'd come with you

A faithful friend as your guide.

We journeyed over mountains

In snowstorms and gales too

But still I remained your companion

And still I respected you.

We passed through the mines or Moria

Tired and weary and cold

I supported you and held you, kept you strong

As we passed through mines of old.

Gandalf fell down into shadow

Passing into darkness and flame

Your eyes filled up with tears

Whenever someone mentioned his name.

Into the woods of Lothlorien,

Into the woods of old

What you saw in that mirror

I something I'll never know.

Departing, we left in Elven boats

I asked to be seated with you

Aragorn understood our friendship

And we understood it too.

Boromir died to save us

Merry and Pippin captured that day

I climbed in the boat alongside you

As we paddled and were swept away.

From then on we journeyed together

Aided only by that foul old thing

Gollum, his name was, Sméagol,

He was only after the Ring

I should have realised at the start

He led us into a trap

I thought you were dead, that I'd lost you

But soon I got you back.

We carried on together

On our own once again

We got to the Mountain of Fire

It was over, there and then.

Gollum found us once more,

Attacked you found the Ring

He bit it off your finger

And destroyed that awful thing.

You were free, Mr Frodo, at last

But nothing was all it seemed

You were ill, Mr Frodo, sick

It was certain: You had to leave

I remember that day, Mr Frodo

As clear as the pale blue sky

One last look, one last tear

As we said our last goodbye.

I still remember you Frodo,

I promised I'd never forget

And still I look forward to meeting you

One day yet, Frodo Baggins, One day yet.
