The Vampiric Truth

If you think you know what a vampire is, you should really read this. I'm one of the few people who know the truth. The last, even. This knowledge is a gift and a curse, and has very nearly gotten me killed. If you think you want to know, read on.

I just want to make something completely clear before I even start. Yes, this is a vampire story. Yes, there is romance. Yes, there are deep, winding plot twists and harsh, gut wrenching, life changing (and sometimes life ending) choices. But no, this is NOT; let me repeat that, NOT another Twilight knock off.

This is NOT some story about a girl who falls in love with a guy who has sparkly skin. This is NOT a story about some whiny bitch that has to describe every fucking thing that happens to her. And finally, this is NOT one of those stories where everything ends up spick and span, nice and tidy, clear cut and happy.

Wrong choices will be made. The wrong people will be trusted, and ultimately the wrong people will die. If you came for a story about love triumphing and justice being served, I firmly suggest you walk away now.

If you're still here, congrats, because you just took the first step in your journey. Your journey into finding out the truth, and living to see your next birthday. Weather you age when your next birthday hits, I can't say. And honestly, it won't matter. All that will matter is that you know your choices, know the truth, and know the consequences of each.
