I could never be so brave as Rodney. I mean, I do the same thing he does, but Rodney is a scientist. I had training for this. Well, not training for fighting vampiric aliens in another galaxy, but training to help deal with being pinned or surrounded by enemies. Rodney's schooling didn't cover how to handle a P-90 or 9mil. That doesn't stop him from stepping through the gate into the unknown on a regular basis. Actually, I don't think I could ever be as brave as any of the scientists, but Rodney is on the front line team. We run into trouble the most of all the teams. When trouble strikes, I can see the colour leave his face and his hands start to shake. Unless I stop him, he talks incessantly about how much he dislikes impending doom. Through all that however, he manages to keep up, and he is getting better with his weapon. He is learning my job, but I can't say I'm learning his. No, all things being equal, I can never be so brave as Dr. Rodney McKay.
