It was a typical morning, or at least what passed for morning in the afterlife realm of Sovngarde. Nords, both born and raised and of both genders, were splayed about the grand Hall of Shor, all in various states of dress and undress, consciousness and unconsciousness. It was a fairly typical morning in the Hall, as many a drunken night ended with many of the Nords drinking far too much, even for their hardy constitutions.
Now, one might think that in Paradise, one can get drunk without getting a hangover. However, far be it from Shor's duty to deprive those who drank in moderation the pleasure of rousing those who had drunk too much.
Indeed, one of said moderated drinkers was currently awake, sitting at one of the smaller, round tables along the periphery of the Hall, sipping from a mug of hot tea. Sighing as he shook his head at his fellow Nords, the white-haired man turned his attention to the images on the wall.
After a few eternities, even drinking and carousing, and whatever it was Nords did behind closed doors grew dull. So, the denizens of Sovngarde petitioned Shor for a new means of entertainment. The great Aedra, in Her wisdom, granted Her Nords their request, placing a viewing portal to the mortal world on one of the long walls of Her Hall. This was naturally a perfect idea, as while the dead stayed the same, the living were always getting into new things. And so, the "television", or "TV" as Shor called it, became the Nords' favorite new thing, next to the mead, of course.
Lately however, mused the Nord, the TV had been most entertaining, centering on one particular Nord's exploits. Indeed, that very same Nord was currently on the TV once more.
Smirking, the Nord placed down his mug and got to his feet. Making his way over to an armor stand, the Nord picked up sword and iron shield and began to bang them loudly together. "C'mon you louts! On your feet! The Dragonborn's fighting another dragon!"
As the Nords staggered to their feet, those that were the most cognizant began to grunt rhythmically. Soon, others joined in as they all turned to the screen and began to chant and sing.
Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin, naal ok zin los vahriin,
Wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal!
Ahrk fin norok paal graan fod nust hon zindro zaan,
Dovahkiin, fah hin kogaan mu draal!
