Sooo... Please REVIEW!

it's been a year since Kurt moved to New York.

It was a breezy day and he woke up with a tingly feeling deep in his stomach. There was something about that day that seemed important, yet he could wrap his mind around it.

Kurt grabbed his phone, like he did every morning; except today, there was no sweet mushy good morning text message from Blaine. Strange.

He pushed the thought away, took a deep breath and stared out the window of his shared apartment. For the first time in weeks, he had the day all to himself; no projects, no home works, no thesis'… nothing.

As he was about to knock on Rachael's door for a girl's day out, he instead he found himself reading a note on her door.

"Had to talk to professor, be back at 8. Btw: you should see your bathroom ;)."

I guess im all alone today. He thought

He walked over to his bathroom door to see a blue bowtie on the mirror being held by a yellow post-it.

It read:

"Good morning gorgeous.

Come to your usual coffee shop, I have a surprise. - B xoxo"

B? Blaine? He… he's here? He can't be.

Then his phone buzzed. It was a message from Blaine!

"Trust the bowties and yellow post-its Kurt ;)"

That's when it hit him. Today was their anniversary!

A blush crept over his porcelain cheeks and he smiled. Yep. My goofball boyfriend is in town.

He grabbed his coat and took off for the coffee shop on the end of his street. He walked in and an aroma of roasted coffee beans hit him. The scent brought him back to lima bean, the memories of him and Blaine hanging out echoed in his mind and he remembered the very reason he was there in the first place. He spotted another bowtie with a post-it on the table, beside them stood a hot cup of coffee. He picked up the post-it and read.

"Grande non-fat mocha, your favorite!

Come to 'Valerie's flower shop' on 9th avenue… I think you know what to expect. -B xoxo "

Kurt smiled, grabbed the cup, took a sip and walked to 9th avenue which stood only a few blocks away. He entered the shop and he spotted red and yellow flowers waiting for him with yet, another bowtie and note on it.

"Remember these flowers? You gave me ones like these, last year.

Come to the Gapstow Bridge in Central Park … My last surprise is waiting. - B xoxo"

Kurt handled the flowers and remembered that day last year he gave this exact kind to Blaine. He remembered giving them to him back at McKinley for getting the role of "tony". He smelled them, thanked who-ever-was-out-there for an amazing boyfriend and hailed a cab for central park. He got to the Gapstow and gazed around for any sign of Blaine. That was when he heard the sound of the guitar plucking a familiar tune that always made his heart beat.

Blaine.

He turned around and as expected, he met those gorgeous brown eyes.

"…. You make me feel like im living a teenage dream

the way you turn me on

I cant sleep, lets run away and don't ever look back

don't ever look back…"

Blaine's voice echoed around the trees surrounding them. Kurt stood there as if the entire world had stopped and Blaine was the only thing he saw. Blaine plucked the last few notes beautifully and said

"… Happy Anniversary Kurt! I would've come sooner but I guessed you were busy with all the scho-" Blaine was cut off as Kurt threw himself at his boyfriend and engaged him in a strong hug.

Blaine broke the hug and instead stared into Kurt's eyes. They both stood there, foreheads touching, Fingers entwined. They were looking at each other like they we're the only people that existed in the universe. Kurt finally stepped forward causing their lips to touch, ever so slightly.

They both sighed and as if rehearsed, they chorused

" …. I love you."
