hristopher was and ordinary boy who lived in a small town. He had short blonde hair and blue eyes he was also quite tall and very handsome. His father had died when he was just 3 years old. And he was left with his mum who looked after him by herself until she remarried to a man called Edward. Edward was really mean to Christopher he made him give him massages and wait on to his every need and if her didn't he would beat him until he was red raw.

One day Christopher got a letter through the post inviting him to a ball for the princess of the country to help her find a husband but Christopher was not allowed to go until his step-father was happy and didn't need the services of his step-son this moment didn't come until 10 before the ball started and Christopher still needed to get to the other side of the country and even on horse back it would take him a good hour so he decided to forget it and turn in for an early night as he was walking up the stairs he heard a voice that sounded familiar but he couldn't quite put his finger on it the voice said "Don't give up and certainly don't give in this man has been working you more like a slave then a son if you give up now he is going to know it is getting to you and continue!"

Suddenly… a figure appeared at the top of the stairs he didn't even need to look twice to figure out who was standing there it was his father looking out for him helping all the way "Come with me and I will take you there" with this he stretched out his hand and gestured to Christopher. Christopher took his hand and with a click of his fingers they were at the ball and Christopher was dancing with the princess just like he had dreamed. He looked in a nearby mirror and he was in his best clothes, his fathers old ones from his wedding. Soon enough Christopher and the princess were married and had a little daughter called Elizabeth. When Elizabeth was just 3 years old Christopher died of a rare disease and his last words were to his daughter they were "beware of the evil step-father don't let him control you, you are your own person I love you both."

And Elizabeth and her mum the princess lived happily ever after just the two of them.
