Rooftop
It was their graduation day and the ceremony had just ended. Friends were wishing each other nice holidays, but he was searching for one special person he cared so much about; his best friend. He bounced through the whole school building searching for Fuji, and when he went upstairs to the rooftop he saw the familiar figure standing at the railing.
Fuji stood at the railing, a light breeze was blowing and his hair flew softly in the wind. His look was directed far away, but it was one of the most beautiful sights Eiji had ever seen. Eiji slowly stepped towards Fuji and the tensai turned around, looking at Eiji with is always present smile…
"Fuji, why are you standing at the rooftop all alone-nya?"
"Saa… I just wanted some time to think…"
"Eh? Fujiko's thinking? What's Fujiko thinking about?" Eiji teased Fuji lightly.
Fuji chuckled and stepped forward towards Eiji until he stood directly in front of him. "You really want to know about what I'm thinking?" Fuji asked the unknowing Eiji.
"Of course I want to know-nya!" Eiji burst out. "After all, we are best friends, aren't we?"
"Saa… maybe we're even more than that…" Fuji said mysteriously before he pushed Eiji's head towards his and pressed his lips against the redhead's.
After what seemed like an eternity, they broke apart.
Fuji looked at Eiji's surprised face. "Now you know what I was thinking about."
Eiji – completely speechless – opened and closed his mouth several times as an attempt to say something. Fuji looked Eiji deep into the eyes and could see that Eiji was sorting his feelings out and Fuji became more and more insecure, was it right what he did? He didn't know. Fuji turned around and went to go but when he opened the door he heard Eiji calling his name. He turned around only to find his lips being covered by Eiji's. His eyes widened and he was totally shocked, but after a short time he closed his eyes and returned the kiss passionately. They broke apart and held each other as close as they could.
"Well you're right, we're much more than just friends," Eiji whispered and hugged Fuji even tighter.
