The car accelerated, the destination was the Beach. Whenever he was sad, or something troubled him, his way was o the beach.

He would see sand, tides come in and out and the beautiful sun glitter, these all soothe him, gave his a joy.

He reached the beach and to the most quietest place near the rocks and settled there. Today, he had a fight with his brotherly friend, Abhijeet.

Back In Past...

Last night, Daya came to the kitchen in order to drink water and Abhijeet noticed redness in his eyes. He seemed suspicious and called Sunil, there family doctor to their apartment where both, Daya and Abhijeet, lived. Despite much opposition of Daya, Abhijeet got him examined and Sunil concluded an eye infection by dust and prescribed eye-drops for Daya with complete rest. 'Nothing stressful for the eyes' was a strict instruction.

The next day when Abhijeet came back from bureau, he found Daya working on his laptop, studying the newly updated case-file of the current case. Abhijeet went hyper.

"For how many time I had said you not to do anything except rest?" Abhijeet's anger was obvious.

Daya tried to convince him, "Look I was just..."

THUMP

A hand landed on Daya's face by his friend.

Daya couldn't believe this type of action. Angry and deceived, he left home.

Back To Present...

Daya was on the beach. He took a fallen tweed and wrote on the wet sand.

Today my best friend slapped me.

Suddenly, he heard noises coming from a distant place. The officer in him arose. He went there to find out the matter. A baby girl was in the middle of huge layer. Despite having hydrophobia, he ventured on the help the baby girl out of water.

At Home...

At home, Abhijeet was feeling regret for his actions. He wanted to apologize and he knew where Daya was. He took the bake from porch and raced towards the beach.

At Beach...

As soon he reached his destination, he noticed a crowd in one place. No sooner he was there to know the matter. To his horror, Daya was in water, trying to keep himself stay calm but his phobia was overcoming him. Within no time, Abhijeet dived in the sea water and saved his friend's life. When Day's breath became normal, he took a sharp edged stone and carved on a tree trunk .

Today my best friend saved my life.

Abhijeet asked Daya, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a tree trunk, why?"

Daya replied with these memorable words, "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can wipe it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it on such a place where no wind can never, ever erase it."
