This is my first Oneshot, so don't kill me if you don't like it.

If you could leave a review that would be awesome.

I do not own Adventure time or any of the characters. Neither do I own the song included in this fanfiction.

My boredom took over me as I lay on my back, staring at the cracks on my ceiling from the recent fight between myself and the well-known villain, the Ice Queen. I got up swiftly, swinging my legs over the edge of the pink mattress. My fingers ran through my hair, my 'dome piece' all ruffled and loose from my hectic day. I thought for a while before standing up and gathering my jogging equipment, pulling the items of clothing on over my pajamas'. As I stepped outside the fresh air caught me off guard and shivered aggressively against the wind. A few steps down the road I see a silhouette hovering over the village, the figure held an axe-like object, at that moment i knew who it was. "Marshall!" My hand waved excitedly and I sped-walked towards him only to find he was immersed in song.

" A Thousand years

I'll love you for a thousand more

Time stands still
Beauty in all he is
I will be brave
I will not let anything take away
What's standing in front of me
Every breath
Every hour has come to this

One step closer "

My heart beat faster than it ever had. As I watched him, I could see he was looking at me. I felt my face heat up and I looked to the floor in embarrassment. I heard him swoop down, but as I looked back up, he was gone. I jogged around, looking for him, but with no luck. I propped myself up against an old burnt down house, sighing as I slid down the rotten charcoal-like wood. Sitting on the floor, I breathed heavily. When I came to a silence, the heavy breathing carried on. I looked around, my head turning to the wooden house. I got up carefully, walking toward the opening of the abandoned burnt house. inside was Marshall. His eyes red and puffed up, tears falling down his cheeks. I snuck in, he didn't seem to notice me as his sobbing carried on. I stood at the back of the house, listening and watching him. His sobbing came to a stop and all was silent, while I was looking him up and down I caught a glimpse of something pointy in his hand. I suddenly realised what it was. A Stake.

I stood silently, not sure on what to do or say. I took one step towards him, his body flinched and quickly turned. A sharp pain in my stomach made me drop to the floor. His eyes were wide and full up with tears, I looked at him, then at my stomach. The stake was dug into me, as I realised this I went to gasp only to be met with a cough, blood spilling from my mouth. He produced a tissue from his back pocket and gently wiped my blooded mouth "It'll be ok Bubba. I'll make it ok.". I felt tears running down my cheeks involuntary and closed them tightly as the pain over took my body, I placed my hand on his chest and weakly pushed him away. "There is nothing you can do now Marshall... Go, Run. Otherwise you will be caught and killed." My voice cracked at nearly every word, tears now forming a puddle with my blood. He clenched his fists and tensed his face, tears falling onto my forehead. I could feel my life slowly slipping away, as the pain was slowly numbing I looked up to Marshall "That song, you should publish it, it was really good" I tried to laugh but my breath was caught in my throat and I coughed aggressively. "It was for you my prince..." He looked down at me, sorrow dancing in his eyes. I closed my eyes and intook my last breath. "I love you Gumball." I heard his last words and they made me feel my dying heart beat. With that my life slipped and into blackness I went.
