Marco Diaz walked close to the skate park, and stopped to see Jackie do the thing she liked to do: skateboard. She performed a couple tricks before trying to do a triple flip. The first flip came up when she reached as high as possible, and the next came once she started to fall. It looked like she was going to make it...

And then, she clashed with a half pipe and hit the ground, bruising her knee.

The skateboarder wasn't subtle about the injury either; once she felt the pain for the first time, she could barely hold back her tears and painful whimpering. Upon seeing this, Marco quickly headed to Jackie's aid.

"M-Marco?!" Jackie blurted, genuinely surprised. "H-H-How long have you been there?!"

Marco didn't answer, and simply checked the skateboarder's knee. "Are you okay? Is the bruise bad?" Marco inquired as he reached for his pockets.

"I don't know, but...it's a little...painful." Jackie stuttered, trying to hold back her tears and pain as much as possible.

It didn't help that as Marco took out some bandages and wrapped her knee with it, Jackie felt the pain intensify a bit. Once he finished wrapping it up, Marco turned to see tears streaming down her face while she covered her mouth with her hand. "Jackie, don't worry, you can let out it on me." the boy said.

With this in mind, Jackie remained silent for practically a second before she released her mouth and loudly cried into Marco's chest. "Marco, it hurts a lot!" the girl's muffed cries made Marco's heart skip a beat. "It feels like my leg was constantly being bashed by hammers without a break in between!"

Regardless of whether Jackie was overreacting or not, Marco brushed Jackie's hair in pity and gathered enough courage to hug her. "It's okay." Marco said, tightening the hug as Jackie returned it.

"You'll make the pain go away?" Jackie asked in a muffled tone.

After a couple seconds, Marco simply responded, "Yes."
