Hi there, this is my second story... I hope you guys enjoy... :)
SURPRISES
It's been a long time since he left our village. He's having a dangerous mission. Though he promised me that he'd tell me if he's coming back, there's still no letter from him. I'm waiting in desperate.
Today I decided to go to our favorite bookstore. We love books so much and Sakura told me there's a great book - newly published – and I'm sure he will like it. So I travel down each shelf of books, and after a while I see the book.
I pull the book but a palm of pale hand tries to pull it too. Annoyed, I tell the guy, "Hey, I take it firs-"But when I look at him, I feel a sudden freeze. He releases his hand of the book and he caresses my cheek. He smiles gently.
"Hello, dobe…"
It all happens so quickly. I dropped the book and hugged him tightly, and buried my face in his chest. Unconsciously, tears running down my cheeks, wetting his shirt.
He seems surprised. "No, don't cry… Ssh, don't cry… I'm here…" he tries to calm me down, but unfortunately it doesn't work, even makes me cry more. He tighten the hug, and his fingers running down my golden hair, gently rubbing, and murmuring something like, "It's okay, it's okay…"
Finally I look up to see his dark raven eyes, and his thumb wipes the tears around my eyes.
"Why didn't you tell me you'll be back today? Why didn't you send me any letter? Why do you-"he cut my questions by pressing his lips to mine. I miss his kisses, and we deepen the kiss, our tongues fighting for dominance, which won by him, of course.
Soon he breaks the kiss. "I was meant to surprise you, but it seems that you're the one who surprised me."
I giggle softly. "Don't ever surprise me like this again…"
He pats my head gently. "I won't. Please don't cry anymore, it kills me." He sighs. "Come on, I'll buy you coffee. He pulls my wrist.
"Oh, let me buy the book first, okay?" I pick up the book.
And we go to a café, and he buys me a drink. I tell him all the things happened in our village while he's not around. Suddenly, he takes out a small blue box out of his pocket. I open it slowly. It contains a silver necklace with heart-shaped one. On it, carved 'SN'. I gasp.
"I love you sweetie…"
"Hey, you're surprised me again!"
"But no tears, okay?" he kisses my forehead.
"Of course not! Thanks, Sasuke…" We hug again, this time even tighter…
