I looked at the two longing for a life like that. Where the COC was just another myth or where I could just be… free. That's all I longed for to be free. I wish Zach and I could be all lovey dovey (that was only a sometimes thing though).

"Gallagher girl, I know what you're thinking." Zach said as he sat next to me.

"Really, Zach? Do you really know?" I asked eyeing him. "Are you the one being chased by the COC? Did you have to beg to go on this mission? Did you Zach? Did you?" I demanded sounding kind of harsh.

"No, I honestly don't. But I do know how it feels. That the world will never, reward you. That's how I felt, until I met you. Everything was wrong my mother, everything. Then I met someone that didn't want to be seen, didn't know she was beautiful and didn't know that I loved her. But now she is my whole world and I can't stop thinking about her… loving her." As Zach spoke I couldn't help but cry. His words were beautiful… they made me feel lucky. "Gallagher girl don't cry. I didn't mean to hurt you."

"Zach I'm not crying because I didn't like it, I am crying because it was beautiful. Because I loved it, but not as much as I love my Gallagher guy." I replied with a big smile on my face.

"I love you too Gallagher girl. But I need you to look at me." He said as he smirked.

"What do-"but I never got to ask because he cut me off by kissing me. It was all I wanted, soft and sweet, like the people on the beach.

"Was that what you wanted Gallagher girl?" He asked.

"It was everything I wanted plus more. Thank you so much Zach." I replied looking at him.

"Now Gallagher girl I require a speech with as much depth." He said breaking the silence.

"Ok, Zach when I first met you I couldn't stand you" I started as I saw Zach gasp and mock hurt "I mean I actually wanted to push you down the stairs. But when we had that dance and my bra, I started to like you, like, a lot. Ever since then you have been the thing that kept me going, the guy that I couldn't wait to see, the smirk that lit up my day and the boy I loved." By the end he was grinning like an absolute idiot. "Did that make you happy?" I asked.

"Ecstatic" he replied looking at me. "Do you want to, you know." He asked.

"Of course you can kiss me again." I replied to his sorta question as he leaned in to kiss me. "Let's go." I said after the kiss.

"What? Where?" Zach asked confusion written all over his face.

"We are going to ditch this mission, go somewhere, have fun and not sit here all day." I said as I went and grabbed his arm, to be free for a day.
