Inspired by Song For a Siren by The Jane Austen Argument. I feel like it's talking about Captain Jack's ship because it says:

'There is a ship, it's been moored for too long, and the crew is long gone. The first mate took them to seek a treasure. Oh! Forbidden.

Sometimes it sailed by the wind, sometimes it sailed by the stars, sometimes it sailed by the captain's map but it always sailed her to his arms.

But the birds sang over the sails, and the birds sang over the sails, and the birds sang over the sails, and the wind cried mutiny.'

And it's just a beautiful song and I love it. I don't really understand why it's on the steampunk playlist on Spotify but whatever?

There is a ship that sails the seven seas. Sometimes it will sail by the wind, sometimes by the stars, and sometimes by the captain's map. But it would always sail into his arms.

This ship is called the Black Pearl. It's captain, the great Jack Sparrow.

The two main sails were like two hearts beating. And it's pace was like two hearts pacing. But they would fall silent to the captain's compass.

It may have foundered in storms, and anchor may have been missing, and the crew drunk on whiskey, whistling a ditty of shame and sin, but it was always loyal to the great captain.

The ship was docked at a pier for too long, the captain drunk in his cabin and the crew plotting against. The first mate, Barbossa, claimed the ship as his and hoisted the sails.

Abandoned on an island with a single shot and rum, Captain Jack drinks.

Away with the crew he went to seek a forbidden treasure; Aztec gold.

But Captain Jack, the good captain, sang the song of pirates on his island alone. He didn't pause to listen when the wind cried of mutiny.

There is a ship that steers through green water, steered by the light of gold. Far below the mermen sing, of a curse on the treasure, but the crew doesn't listen.

Greedy as ever for glittering things, led by their new captain, the crew pillaged. They took the gold, every piece.

And the curse took hold and their food turned to ash as they ate. They moaned and they cried, despairing they are.

And the Captain seeks revenge. But dear traitorous fiend, the ship will never sail into your arms.

So. My first POTC fic, since I was able to watch part of the movie last night (I made a fuss at the fact that I'd miss the first thirty minutes, stormed into my room and pouted, then returned to watch the rest of the movie) BUT LUCKILY (BEFORE YOU KILL ME XD) IT WAS ON AGAIN TODAY AND I RECORDED IT! My sister will soon be evicted so I can watch it *evil laugh* and then I might return with a JackxWill fic. Who knows? I'm a pirate! I'm unpredictable! ~Cat.
