The Dream
It was a bright sunny day and Percy was looking at two kids playing at a distance. He was sitting near Annabeth who was fast asleep. They have been planning this picnic for the past two weeks. Percy was silently watching Annabeth sleep peacefully which he rarely had a chance to view as they were always chasing away monsters. For those who don't know their story, Annabeth and Percy have been together for 1 year. Percy lives in Manhattan going to his stepfather's high school. Annabeth too had joined in Percy's school after the Titan's War.
While Percy was watching the scenery in the park he heard some noise in the nearby bushes. His first instinct was to uncap riptide, which proved to be useful as a couple of hellhounds jumped on him. Annabeth too woke up quickly and unsheathed her knife. Both of them lunged towards the hellhounds and started incinerating them one by one.
There was one thing Annabeth was pretty sure about Percy. It is that she knew how much he hated monsters, especially those which interrupted his date. After killing all of them Percy had his usual cocky grin on his face, which he usually used for showing off before Annabeth. She said, "Wipe that grin off the face, Seaweed Brain. I killed more hellhounds than you did." He said, "Yes, Girl, it happens to be that I felt your performance quite outstanding but quite below mine." She said, " I am always better than you, Kelp head." And was about to kiss him when an unexpected thing happened. Percy woke up from his dream and realised that all of this was a dream. There was a knock at his cabin door and Annabeth came in to finish what was about to happen in his dream.
