Chapter 1
The woods
~Tohru's POV~
I ran through the woods crying. I tried to get the memory out of my head. My mom just died in a car accident. I had already lost my dad from illness, what will I do now? As I ran I didn't pay attention to where I was going. I tripped over a log and everything faded to black.
I then awoke to see a red eyed orange haired man looking down at me.
"Why are you in the woods this late?" The strange man asked.
"Why do you want to know?" I replied.
"Because you're in the woods this late there's creepers and perverts around here," He said.
"Oh, well I'm leaving now. Before I go, do you know how to out of the woods?" I asked.
"I can show you were you need to go," The strange man said.
"Thank you, I really appreciate it," I said.
"We're going to be walking for a while; you are in very deep in the woods. Why would you be this far anyway?" The strange man asked.
"Well, my mom just died, and I wanted to clear my head," I replied.
"Oh yeah, my name is Kyo Sohma. I'm in your home room math class, but I sit in the back," Kyo said.
"My name is Tohru Honda. I sit in the front, that's why probably why I don't recognize you," Tohru said.
