AN: This was a request on tumblr that stated not to write the process of them getting back together, just the end result. So here you go.

It had been a few days since Callie had knocked on the hotel door asking Arizona to come back home. She hadn't heard from her and she hadn't been seeing her around at work. Callie began to think that maybe it was too late. Had her wife moved on? Forgotten about her? Grown tired of her? She wasn't sure, the only thing she was sure of was the fact it was Arizona's night with Sofia and that meant they would be face to face for the first time since that night.

Callie found herself checking her appearance every time she walked past a mirror. She fixed her hair or straightened her shirt. She nitpicked at the little imperfections she saw. She couldn't help it. She mumbled to herself things that she might say when she opened the door.

Either way, Callie had never felt so nervous when it came to Arizona and this scared her and excited her.

-.-.-.-

Arizona made her way up the elevator, fidgeting with her keys as she waited for the elevator to stop. She was worried about seeing Callie because they hadn't spoken since her wife knocked on her hotel door. It's not like she didn't want to see her, to move back in with her, to become a family again. It was just things had been so busy at work, she didn't have the time to talk to Callie.

The elevator stopped and she stepped out, turning the corner and walking down the hall. She stopped when she realized how fast she was walking and took a deep breath before continuing closer and closer to the apartment door.

She reached the blue door and stopped in front of it. She quickly ran her hands through her hair, not knowing if it was improving her look or making it worse, and knocked on the door. Arizona held her breath as she heard shuffling from the other side.

-.-.-.-

Callie heard the knock on the door and froze as she turned towards the door. Sofia was in her room and her bag was waiting by the door. Usually Callie would bring Sofia to the door with her but this time she walked towards it alone.

Callie slowly opened the door to find Arizona standing there with her suitcase. The blonde woman smiled at her as Callie grinned back. They stood across from each other in the doorway, both trying to figure out what to say.

"Hi," Arizona broke the silence, her dimples radiating as she flashed her signature smile.

"Hi," Callie smiled back, stepping to the side and letting Arizona walk in.

Arizona carried her bag in and placed it on the floor. She smiled as Sofia turned out of her bedroom and ran towards her. Callie smiled as she closed the door and joined them.

Arizona was home.
