Author Notes: This is something I found on my computer and its just some pointless Stella/Noctis fluff, and this is probably the first Stella/Noctis piece that I wrote and just never really had a chance to post it. This is also based on a song that I was listening to at the time. Thanks a bunch Ellie for betaing.

She silently leaned her bare arms against the white stone railing of the balcony, as she glanced at the somewhat dark city that was enlightened with lights, mostly from streetlights and people who didn't retire to bed despite the late hour in the night it was.
She smiled softly, feeling the night breeze against her bare skin that her formal midnight blue dress didn't cover as she glanced up at the night sky. She noticed that she could see all the stars and the moon, as she could hardly see a cloud in the dark sky.
"The night sky is beautiful, isn't it?" a soft voice questioned, draping his black coat over her bare shoulders, as a hand reached up to grasp the jacket, almost as if it were her way to prevent it from falling to the ground.
"Lord Noctis," she uttered softly, slightly bowing her head and causing him to roll his eyes. Ever since the peace treaty between their two countries, and his coronation as king of his kingdom, Stella has always been treating him with the uttermost respect.
"Noct," he said almost as if it was on instinct, recalling his first conversation with her almost a year ago. "Please, you I know I hate formalities."
She nodded slightly, a light blush appearing on her cheeks as she uttered a soft apology. "What brings you out here, Noct?"
"Needed to get away," he admitted softly. "Besides, I hate grand parties such as these."
Stella nodded lightly, remembering him sneaking away from a party when they first met, and during the months when they had a relationship on the borderline between friends and enemies, that she had found out that he was shy on one of the few heart to heart talks they had.
He stared at the blonde haired girl who had slipped on his dark coat which seemed a bit big for her, not to extent that it dwarfed her petite form completely, instead, it hung off her shoulders.
"You better not stay out here to long, Noct, I'm sure there are plenty young, single woman
hoping to have a chance to dance with you," she teased lightly, noting a horrified expression cross his face at the mere thought of her teasing, before a smile crossed his features.
"And would one of those woman happen to include yourself?" he half teased and half questioned, noting a small blush crossing her features.
"And if I am?" she teased lightly, even though she had to admit the thought of dancing or engaging in any type relationship with him beyond friendship was something that had crossed her mind countless times since she first met him.
He silently offered a hand out towards her. "Then I will be honored to have a dance with you."
She stared at his offered hand before gently laying hers over his, allowing the young prince to lead her into a dance under the night sky.
