He is a son. Father. Friend. A pilot, and a leader of soldiers.

In the beginning, they addressed each other by their titles. First, as Secretary and Commander. Then, as President and Admiral.

When animosity faded and alliances were made, they regarded each other with their names from birth. Simply, as Laura and Bill.

One tagged her with the familiar, Young Lady.

Many referred to him as The Old Man.

The fleet knew them as The Parents.

As their love grew and flourished, the woman openly addressed him as Honey. And the man admitted that she was his Sine Qua Non.

Despite the fact that they never took vows to the effect, they lived as though they were married, for as long as they could. When she died, he solemnly placed a ring on her finger, and, in his heart, called her, Wife.

Later, when he joined her upon the grassy shore of Elysium, she welcomed him home with loving arms. And there, beside a cabin built for two, and a lake with water as clear as glass, she finally was able to call him by a new name, Husband.

They are the Adamas.

Or the Roslin-Adamas.

Occasionally, the Adama-Roslins.

After millennia, they're still working out their official title.

That is, when they aren't hyphenating.
