Authors's notes: Just a little ramble of Ryou struggling against Bakura before getting on the ship to Duelist Kingdom (I hope that's obvious.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darkness surrounded him like a suffocating blanket the only visible light was that of the pale thin moon and stars in sight of his window. The young white haired boy swayed unsteady on his feet which were leading him out of the house and towards the harbour.
"Please. No. Stop." He moaned one hand running along the wall the other clutching his aching head.
No I won't stop! A familiar menacing voice, that the boy knew only he could hear, hissed. Let me free now! It demanded.
"Go away!!" The teenager yelled aloud.
Shhh; I won't hurt you just let me be free. I just have some business little one. The voice had quickly changed tactics. It had taken on a soothing tone and Ryou was almost fooled; almost.
"No you'll…you'll just do what you did last time…" He shuddered at the memory of the tabletop rpg game that had become more real than Ryou would've liked. The school's PE teacher had bullied him, yelled for him to get a haircut. Ryou shuddered remembering those blank, soulless eyes that seemed to somehow be accusing him…
I didn't kill him; you know that, he's fine now. Somehow Ryou had managed to wander all the way to the harbour.
"Please leave me." He was close to tears of despair.
I will never leave little one not until my task is complete! Ryou felt a burst of pain rack his body erupting from his chest and then nothing.
He was the one watching.
He was the one in the shadows.
He was the one forced to watch what he feared the spirit would do. Seal the souls of his friends.
