A/N: Why do I continue to only write about the Nordics? O_o I-I don't even know the characters that well (well, other than SuFin, as it IS my OTP)... Anyway, I love fluff. I love love LOVE fluff. I always felt that SuFin would be such a cute pairing once Fin stopped, you know, screaming whenever Su-san looked at him. ;D
Not happy with how short this is, but whenever I try to lengthen this story I feel like I'm ruining the effect. It's just a snapshot of their morning, you know? Also, stupid title is stupid. VERY stupid. _
As always, constructive criticism is welcome, not to mention extremely helpful~
A Morning With SuFin
Tino slowly opened his eyes, blinking a few times to clear the sleep from his eyes. He could hear slow, deep breathing coming from directly to the right of him, and he turned towards the soothing sound. He was careful not to disturb the other as he gently reached out to brush a lock of hair away from his bedmate's face, which even in sleep looked sullen.
Berwald was instantly awake.
"Ah! Oh, I'm sorry Su-san!" Tino hastily apologized as the other man blinked groggily at him.
"Nngh," was the reply Berwald offered.
A small chuckle escaped from the smaller nation's lips as Berwald moaned and rolled over on his back, throwing an arm over his face. Su-san really isn't a morning person at all, Tino thought to himself, unable to stop the corners of his mouth from turning upwards in a soft smile at the other man's quirks.
"I'll go make us some breakfast, okay?" Tino told the Swede merrily as he sat up in bed, yawning widely and stretching his arms high above his head luxuriously.
Berwald was unresponsive so Tino began attempting to untangle himself from the sheets in order to get out of the bed. However, he suddenly found himself being dragged back into the sea of blankets and being pulled close to Berwald, who wrapped his strong arms around the smaller man's middle.
"Su-san?"
"Berwald," Sweden mumbled sleepily into the back of the Fin's neck. "I told ya t' call me Berwald."
Tino laughed lightly, snuggling up to the larger man and closing his eyes with a contented sigh. "All right, all right! Berwald. Now, what do you want for breakfast?"
