Drip, drip, drip the rain fell as a figure looked out the window a desperate look plastered on there face, the rain droplets scattered the window like broken diamonds. His long slate hair hid his face as deep crimson eyes searched for someone. The boy sighed as he realized that they weren't coming, that no one wanted him. He curled up into a ball on his bed as he stared at his wrists, his bruised and battered wrists a flash of silver shown in the moonlight as a dark crimson liquid surrounded him "Why do I exists, if no one cares for me?" he whispered as his world faded into darkness. Later that evening a red haired figure walked in with a happy face but he soon turned pale and sadness grew in his orbs he knelt down to the boy and examined him as tears brimmed his eyes "Kai" he whispered, he looked to the wall where he wrote his last words written in red

SLIVER KISS.

Yuri stood with his head bowed at the coffin of his long time friend and boyfriend, as everyone left the cemetery once the coffin was lowered in the ground Yuri stayed behind as he bowed to the grave "Kai, why did you do this…I know I was a little late but that still doesn't give you a reason to kill yourself" he whispered as if Kai was beside him. "Yuri, you okay?" Yuri turned a bit of hope sparked in his eyes but it soon faded with everything else he had left, Yuri sighed "Hey, Takao" he whispered looking back to the grave. Takao nodded not sure on what else to say "Yuri, I know you loved Kai and that nothing or no one else can replace him" Takao began Yuri continued to look at the grave trying to contain the tears, "I know that, but if you need someone to talk to I'm listening" he said before he walked off.

Yuri laid there staring at the ceiling as thoughts of what happened kept running through his head and the words replayed over and over in his head "Sliver Kiss" he sighed "It's all my fault" he whispered as it started to rain, just like it had the night Kai died. Yuri turned over to the night stand and pulled out a sliver blade he smoothed his fingers over the object as if testing to see if it was real; it felt cool against his heated flesh as he cut deep into his wrist, each one deeper then the last.

Soon he was surrounded in his own blood. A peaceful look crossed his face as he saw the pearl white gates as clouds parted to make way, a young slate haired boy walked out dressed in a white robe with a golden sash he smiled lovingly at him. Yuri was overjoyed to see Kai again as he walked over to him, he caressed his face as if making sure he wasn't seeing things. Once he was convinced that Kai was really there he grinned and placed a kiss on his rose bud lips. Kai smiled at him as he looked down at his wrists "Why?" he questioned his beloved Yuri shrugged "I had to be with you, to see you again" He whispered Kai smiled and nodded. Suddenly there was a creak and the golden gates opened showing a picture perfect white cloud castle with stars and a full moon in the back caressing the castle with a golden glow of light. Stairs where made from the clouds to the golden gates and side by side hand in hand they walked into the perfect paradise, with a sliver kiss to end the night.
