Gray is the nineteenth part of my 100 Themes Challenge~
I chose Hawkbit from Watership Down as my main character for this brief bit.
But.. y'know. My version of the WS cast (:
Hawkbit's hair wasn't silver. It wasn't white nor was it a charcoal. It didn't reflect any kind of light; sunshine or moonlight and it wasn't radically coloured either. It didn't possess different shades and tones and sparkles. His fringe didn't have a pink streak running to his crown. His sideburns weren't dark in comparison to the rest of his hair. It didn't fall into his eyes but it wasn't brushed to the side either.
Hawbit's hair matched his personality. It was smoky and dull and as drole as he was. It suited his characteristics perfectly and even if it didn't sparkle or shine or look aesthetically unique compared to the rest of those in the warren, Hawkbit didn't care.
His hair was gray. A pleasantly boring, rainy day gray.
And he loved it.
