Leon pushed D over backwards, pinning his slender wrists with his hands. D's black hair spilled over the pillow revealing his chilling, two-colored eyes. At times, Leon was frightened by those eyes.

"I love you," D whispered into his lover's ear.

"You're too sentimental," Leon snorted.

D shrugged slightly. "Perhaps," he said, "but it worked."

"... the hell?" Leon managed to get out before D caught him in a kiss again.

When they finally separated, D smiled. "Being sentimental is what got me you, isn't it?"

Leon stared directly into D's frightening, glorious, dual-toned eyes.

"Not in the slightest."

D laughed.
