Chapter 1: Can you catch me?
I'm falling
Hard,
Fast,
I'm completely helpless.
No one can seem to save me,
Not my sister,
No not she who betrayed me,
Not even God can save me now.
I can feel it,
Deep within my soul,
I know it's coming,
That pale gray concrete.
It's too late now,
No turning back,
No crying when it happens,
No fear.
The time draws near,
A time of reckoning,
My final hour,
My last breath.
I expect it to be quick,
But painful,
Oh so painful,
To hear the breaking of my own heart.
My bones will crack,
Organs crushed,
Insides askew,
As the earth impales this limp vessel.
But instead of cold ground
Seizing the life within me,
Warm arms welcome me
From a deep slumber.
My eyes flutter open
To match my saviors soft brown gaze,
I watch him,
Still astonished that he saved me.
How did he catch me from up there?
How did he know I was falling?
Why did he not let me crash?
So many unanswered questions.
He gently sets me down
On the ground that was to be
My deathbed
But now I am lighter then a bird once more.
Still in a daze,
Strong hands grip me into reality,
Pulling me in closer,
Luring me into his gravity.
Soft lips graze my own,
Fingers entwined,
Dancing along my back,
Emblazoning a path up my spinal cord.
In a flash the moment is over,
We each smile radiantly,
And pull each other closer,
As lips ensnare each other once more.
The world seems right,
Planets aligned,
Celestials twinkle above,
Luna smiling upon us.
And for once in my life
I am happy,
Truly happy,
Knowing he won't let me fall.

Alright, so here ends my third poem fic! Man, I don't know what it is but lately I've just been getting a lot of inspiration to write poetry! Well, the school year will be out in like less then two weeks, so expect more soon!
