Shrek was worried because Fiona had given birth to triplets and he was worried about being a father. Fiona could tell he was scared but didn't want to show her.
"Don't worry honey. You'll get used to it. I need you to look after them while I go out. I put them down for a nap so you should be okay." She said as she kissed him on the lips and left. But somebody had snuck into the house and was making her way to the babies's room. It was some one they thought was a friend who helped them get Far, Far Away out of Charming's hands. Shrek was sitting in the alligator chair looking into the fire. Suddenly he heard the babies cry and went to check it out.
He watched as the cloaked stranger disappeared with the triplets. "Fiona will freak and be upset. I know I don't know how to be a father but I've got to save them!" he thought as he took off… He hoped Fiona would understand or he was screwed. Meanwhile Charming was waiting as the stranger to arrive. He watched as she appeared. "Did you get what I asked for?" he said to her. "Oh yeah! I took them while he was off guard." she told him as she took off the hood. It was Rapunzel. He smiled evilly. "That'll teach him and Fiona not to cross me!" he told her proudly. He then put the babies in a cage but they were freaked out and started crying. "What's with them?" she said to him. "They must be scared. Perfect! I can mess with them and scare them so bad, they won't want to be with their parents!" he thought as he locked the door.
Puss and Donkey wondered what was going on as they followed their ogre friend through a forest. "It's the kids. Somebody came and kidnapped them. I need your help to save them. Maybe I can be a good father if I can save them. Charming had better not hurt them or he'll pay!" he explained to them calmly.
But Fiona had found out and was upset. She knew her husband could get them back but was worried. She hoped that everything would be okay...
Lillian knew how she felt. She was their grand mother. "I'm sure they'll be fine. They do take after you and Shrek, you know." she reassured her calmly. "Yeah I know but thoughts are running in my mind of the worst case scenarios that could happen to them and that's what's scaring me the most." Fiona replied. Lillian nodded. "I see. It was the same when you were born. Your father was very protective of you. But it turned out okay." she said. But then Charming showed up. "What do you want?" she growled through gritted teeth. Lillian could tell the sight of Charming was making her angry. "You'd better not hurt me or else." he told her. "Or what?" Fiona said to him. "Something bad will happen to three little bundles of joy." was all he told her. Suddenly anger burst through Fiona's body. "You creep! You'd better not be hurting them!" she yelled as Lillian held her back. Charming laughed at that as he vanished. Fiona was not happy. "Just leave me alone." she said as she walked off back into the castle.
Lillian then decided to leave her daughter to cool off. She knew how much her daughter cared for her babes and Charming was now going to ruin it all...
