Comments Summary says it all. You may or may not want to read part one before you read this one. I haven't written for CSI in a while, but now you know I am still alive. lol. BTW, SUCKS TO THE STRIKE!!!!! SETTLE ALREADY!!!!!! At least the fan artists are writing.

What does not kill us strengthens and binds together with each fear.

Don't dread the memories.

Don't wish them away.

For because of this we are what we are today.

(O)

Tiny rooms strike large fears

when a classic car wrecks twice.

Forbidden love watches a small reflection

while the end of the desert drought threatens you.

Pinned beneath the metal heap

you fight for your freedom, and just in time

you escape from the makings of a muddy grave.

Dazed, lost, confused, tried, thirsty,

you limp through the endless wasteland.

The sand and rocks fill the landscape

as far as your blurred vision can see.

You've collapsed by a dying sage brush.

Miles away your shining light has saved you

and he's running to bring you home safe too.

(O)

What does not kill us strengthens and binds together with each fear.

Don't dread the memories.

Don't wish them away.

For because of this we are what we are today.

(O)

One's the anchor to hold you down.

One's the wings to lift you up.

Both conflict and warp you.

Even when you're warned by your closest friend,

the trend leads you down a dangerous path.

Honorable is your determination, your quest for justice,

But you've overstepped your boundaries now.

Nothing can stop this high, drunk escapade.

Someone besides the boss wants you to stop;

that's why your one-night-stand is dead.

The finally find the truth.

The path of destruction ends here,

but now It's you who must live with it.

It's good to have you back, in more ways than one.

(O)

What does not kill us strengthens and binds together with each fear.

Don't dread the memories.

Don't wish them away.

For because of this we are what we are today

(O)

Don't dread the memory.

Oh, don't ever wish it away.

For without it, you would not be where you are today
