Title: I'm Not Okay

Pairing: HP/RL if you squint

Story: He's not okay. Has nothing to do with the fantastic song by My Chemical Romance.

Disclaimer: I own nothing, I'm just a broke student.

He hated this house.

He was back there again.

Number Twelve

The place he hated. The place that he never wanted to see again. They thought of it as protection, but he secretly thought it was because they didn't want him to do something stupid… Like kill himself. Or maybe it was Fate's way of, once again, kicking him in the ass.

Whatever it was, he didn't like it one little bit. He was currently sat at the kitchen table. Remus Lupin sat opposite him. They were the only two in the much hated house at the time.

"Are you okay Harry?" His ex-professor asked.

Was he okay? Was he okay? He had no parents, no Godfather, his 'family' hated him, and he was the Boy-Who-Must-Be-Fucking-Hyphenated… In other words, NO HE WAS NOT FUCKING OKAY!

"I'm okay." He replied quietly. Remus didn't look satisfied with his answer, but he dropped it all the same.

Later, when the sun had gone down, he was lying on his bed, in the room he and Ron had shared. He was seeing it again. The Veil. The thing that helped take away Sirius. He kept seeing it repeat in his head, over and over, until it was driving him mad.

He got up from his bed, went out the door, down the hall, and stopped in front of another door. He knocked. After hearing a 'come in' from the room, he opened the door.

"Harry? Are you okay?" Remus asked, standing from where he was reading a book at his desk.

Harry paused for a second, debating on what to say. He could spill it all out at an extremely fast rate and then run. Or he could take his time, and maybe feel a little better. He looked Remus in the eyes.

"I'm not okay."

And so, he cried into Remus' shoulder, telling him in between gasps and sobs how much he hated this house, missed Sirius, and wished he wasn't the Boy-Who-Lived. After a while, he noticed Remus was crying too.

He suddenly realised he'd never said what he needed to say. And now he was going to before one of them died.

So, crushing Remus in a tighter hug than before, he whispered what he wanted to say.

"I love you Moony."

I'm baaaaack! I wanna say one thing. To everyone who has read/reviewed my stories, THANK YOU! And also, I haven't forgotten, or abandoned my other stories. I've just had a rather persistent case of writer's block. I WILL NEVER ABANDON ANY OF MY STORIES. Also, this was originally meant to be a oneshot, but if I get enough call for it, I'll write a multi-chapter one... what d'you think? Review Please!
