Summary: "Maybe Envy believed in FullMetal's word about not knowing anything about the Stone, or did he perhaps feel a little brotherly affection towards Edward?"

Description: Stupid, pointless ficlet. Also my first fic EVER in English, which might explain use of incorrect verb tenses and bad spelling.
Characters/Pairings: Envy & Ed, but not in a couple. I guess you could see it otherwise, but oh well… whatever makes you readers happy.
Rating: K ;
Genre: uh… General?
Disclaimer: I don't own FMA, and you don't want to know what would happen if I did.

Author's Notes: Okay, guys, first of all… Hi! I usually write FMA in Spanish, but since inspiration just came to me, I wrote a little ficlet in English. Since English is my second language, I probably suck at writing in it and have more incorrect verb tenses than a monkey. So anyways, hope you enjoy

Run Away

"Envy, is it worth it?"

The older sin pouted, his hands supporting his face, elbows against the table.

"What are you talking about?" he then replied, almost absent-mindedly. Reaching for a glass that sat in the middle of the table, he pressed his lips against the crystal and took one sip.

"Keeping me here" the alchemist continued, trying to break free from the copper chains that fixed him to the wall.

Envy fumed in silence. He wasn't gonna answer that.

"What's your problem, shrimp?" said Envy "I already told you. Lust wants to keep you here until you tell us everything you know about the Stone."

With a sigh, Edward made a mocking expression with his face.

"Well, I know nothing."

Envy got up, crawling next to where FullMetal was. To Ed's surprise, he didn't even say a word. He just sat there.

Amethyst orbs scanned him as his lips curved into a smirk.

"Are you sure?" Envy said without hesitation "Then yeah, what's the use of keeping you then? Go away. We don't need you anymore."

Edward was unsure whether this was just his beloved half-brother's sarcasm or not.

"For real?" FullMetal's voice sounded weak and uncertain.

Envy said nothing. Instead, he turned round and sat on the chair, now savouring the steak Edward didn't eat earlier, claiming it was poisoned.

The alchemist set himself free from the chains, and stood up quickly, glaring at the sin. Seeing that he didn't even flinch or move, he clapped his hands.

A white glow shone all over the cell. The sin tilted his head upwards, inspecting the room, which was now empty.

He wondered why he had let Ed escape.

Maybe Envy believed in FullMetal's word about not knowing anything about the Stone, or did he perhaps feel a little brotherly affection towards Edward?

Envy made sure he didn't pick the latter when explaining the whole situation to Lust.
