Okay so when i had written this story the first two chapters had been done in about an hour. Now after a long time, i have finally gotten around to editing the entire thing. The idea came about because a friend of mine had watched Harry Potter for the first time. Read and enjoy like always.
This is magical items talking.

Sorting Prophecies
The Great Hall was silent as the first years were sorted. Many though weren't silent for that reason, but because there was a girl standing with the first years who was obviously not eleven. The girl just stood there waiting for her name to be called and trying to ignore the eyes piercing into her. Finally, after a long wait, the older Deputy Headmistress called out. "Miranz Alianna." Alianna moved forward as the first student to ever be sorted at the age of fifteen. As she seated herself upon the stool she caught sight of a pair of newly familiar eyes. Just as Professor McGonagall placed the Sorting Hat on her head Alianna smiled at her newest friend.
"Hmm, a difficult mind that you have here..."
"What the hell! Who are you?"
"The Sorting Hat child. I'm here to place you into the house most appropriate for you."
"Okay then, well I'm sorry for being difficult then." She muttered. The sarcasm was just dripping from her quiet voice.
"Well let's begin shall we? You have knowledge and compassion, but you also have courage and ambition in folds. You would have no problems in any of the houses and you have had family is each. Do you have any house that you wish to join? Your father had once picked Slytherin while his mother Gryffindor..."
"I have no clue. I'm still honestly learning about the houses so if you could just put me in the place that I can do the most good in. that would be great. I'm starting to feel a little weird sitting here in front of all of these people with a hat over my head."
"Then the choice shall be made. First though you must listen. Evil and good are but mere words. Choices are made for wards and lords. Two friends are to be allies, though not at first. Two lives that were made into a bitter curse. A bond will form when kindred meet. Young enemies will be turned towards peace. Family is needed or darkness will win. When the leader of the light is no longer kin. Slytherin," The Sorting Hat finally yelled out for the school to hear.
"Hey hat! What did you mean by that?" Silence came from the hat as cheers erupted from the table decorated in silver and emerald colors. No cheers came from the other tables, only mild polite clapping. The teachers clapped as well, though Dumbledore clapped as loudly as usual and Severus Snape clapped louder than the other teachers; even if no one noticed. Once McGonagall took the hat off of her head, Alianna stood and walked to an empty seat within the fifth year students.
Someone nudged an elbow into her side and Alianna turned her head to the right. The teen next to her had short blond hair that reached almost to his eyes. Well blond did quite cover the color of his hair. It was so light of a color that it was almost bleach blond. He had gray eyes, pale skin, a thin body structure and peach lips that were formed into a smirk. "The name's Malfoy. Draco Malfoy. Welcome to the home of the snakes." Draco held a hand out for her the shake. Hesitantly she gripped the hand. "My younger sister is farther down. She's a fifth year as well, my twin, Cissnea Malfoy."
Alianna didn't think much of it as she followed Draco's finger to the person near the third year students. The girl had a darker shade of blond than her brother's that reached down to her shoulder blades. Her milky white skin seemed to glow. When she turned her head towards them, light gray filled with humor. 'Her eyes have something akin to kindness in them compared to Draco's.' Looking back at the other Slytherin she pulled her hand out of his and turned to the front as Dumbledore stood up.
"Student new we welcome you to Hogwarts, older students we welcome back. Very important words are to be spoken this night, but first, tuck in." As Dumbledore sat down once more food magically filled the plates before everyone and pitchers filled with various drinks as well. Alianna looked around, not seeing much that she was familiar with. Filling up her plate and goblet with everything new, Alianna dug into the food as though she hadn't eaten anything throughout her life.
"Slow down or you're going to choke." Draco said next to her, calmly eating his own food. "You're almost eating like that idiot Weasley." As if to make a point Draco titled his head towards the Gryffindor table behind them. Alianna looked back and saw a red head shoving chicken into his mouth. Alianna shook her head to stop herself from smiling. Draco though, took it as an agreement with his words. Turning back to her food, Alianna kept her head slightly turned so that she could keep an eye on the Weasley teen and the two people next to him.
"Hey Harry, Hermione, why is that new Slytherin girl staring at us?" Ron took a break from eating when he had looked up to see the new student staring at him, and then shook her head. It annoyed him how the Slytherins always thought that they were better than everyone else and here was a completely new one just staring at him. Before Ron could catch her eye though she turned forward again, though not completely. Ron had a feeling that she was still staring.
Hermione turned around to look at the new student. She had mid back length brown hair with two braids that were red, silver and emerald green. Earlier Hermione had seen that she had blue eyes the color of the sky after a storm with flecks of green mixed in, so it looked as though you were looking at the sea. Pale alabaster skin made her look sick, even more than Draco and his sister did. She was about Hermione's height if she guessed, but weighed less than someone their age should weight to be healthy. "I'm not sure Ron, but what do you both make of her?"
"Make of her? I haven't even met her and she creeps me out." Ron looked back at his plate only to see that it was now empty and dessert had replaced the meal. Sighing, he filled his plate. He hadn't even gotten to finish his chicken.
"She's not so bad," Harry muttered quietly, not even turning to see who his friends were talking about.
Hermione turned to look at him. "Harry? Is there something that you're not telling us?" Hermione was used to secrets, but Harry almost always confided in her. Even more so than he did to Ron, because she hardly ever judged him about simple things.
Harry shook his head and smiled at his long time friend. "Nothing really, but I met her on the train earlier. She had been looking for someplace quiet because she had ended up sitting with the first years. She said she'd probably curse them if she didn't get away soon."
"Told you she was creepy," Ron muttered around his food.
Hermione glared at him, but turned back to Harry to let him finish. "We sat and talked for awhile. Though she ended up leaving just before Ginny and Neville came to visit me. It was nice; apparently this is her first year ever learning magic at a school because she's..." Harry stopped talking when he heard a familiar voice and looked up at the head table. Alianna also tilted her head up towards Dumbledore when he'd started talking. She was glad that she had been able to convince him not to publicly introduce her since she hated attention when it wasn't necessary. And an introduction really wasn't. A sharp pain went through Alianna's body and she tried not to flinch as Dumbledore's speech continued and then the weird pink professor interrupted him. Alianna's breathing became uneven. Soon though her throat began to burn and Alianna knew that she couldn't last much longer.
Standing up she quickly walked out of the Great Hall as fast as her feet could take her. Harry heard the footsteps as the whole hall went quiet, even Umbridge stopped talking. Turning along with everyone else, Harry saw Alianna running out of the Great Hall. With a frown Harry stood to follow. Hermione grabbed his sleeve though before he could walk away. "Harry, what are you going to do?"
"I don't know. I can at least try to help Hermione. Go get one of the professors, I think something's wrong." Harry gently pulled out of Hermione's hold and walked off. His pace was quick, but his footsteps where quiet on the stone floor. Hearing a noise coming from his right, Harry headed into the direction of the Entrance Hall. Next to one of the suits of armour was Alianna, her dinner having decided not to stay down. "Alianna, are you alright?"
Alianna looked up when she heard him talk. "Mr. Potter... " Alianna couldn't say anything more as she continued to lose everything that she had just eaten. Harry knelt beside her and pulled her hair out of the way with his left hand. He used his right hand to keep Alianna still. Minutes passed until Alianna could finally breathe properly and open her mouth without food coming back up.
The clicking of shoes on the floor made both teenagers look up to see Severus Snape coming towards them. Harry wanted to groan but held it in. "professor, I'm sorry for walking out, but I wanted to see if Alianna was alright."
Snape ignored Harry for a moment and knelt on the other side of Alianna. Alianna moved back to sit down properly instead of kneeling and looked up at Snape. He placed a hand over her forehead and sighed, "I thought I had told you not to eat anything solid." Harry blinked in confusion. "Mr. Potter, I think it is time that you return to the Great Hall. Your friends are worried about you." Snape gently picked Alianna up, a hand under her knees and back, and carried her towards the Hospital Wing. Harry sat there for a moment longer before the smell next to him became too much and he did as told, rejoining his fellow students in the Great Hall.
