Lance, Hunk, Pidge, and Sakura are on a flight to Kerberos. "Galaxy Garrison flight log 5-11-14.. Begin descent to Kerberos for rescue mission." Lance said, before jerking the simulator while descending.

"Augh. Lance, can you keep this thing straight?" Hunk asked as he clung to his seat.

"Relax Hunk. I'm just getting a feel for the stick." Lance said in a lazy cocky fashion. "I mean it's not like I did this!" He jerks the simulator, and Hunk groans.

"Lance! Stop it!" Sakura yelled as she clung to her controls.

"Or this!" Lance jerks the simulator for a third time as Hunk starts to turn green,

"Ok ... unless you want to wipe beef stroganoff out of all the little nooks and crannies in this thing, you'd better KNOCK IT OFF, MAN!" Hunk yells.

Pidge turns when his monitor activates. "We've picked up a distress beacon!"

"Alright, look alive team! Pidge, track coordinates." Lance orders.

"Copy." Pidge nodded.

"Avoid those boilders Lance!" Sakura cried, after her monitor activates, and the simulator starts to rumble and alarms start to blare.

"Knock it off, Lance, please!" Hunk yells, still looking ill.

"Oh this one's on you, buddy. We've got a hydraulic stabilizer out."

Hunk pulls up a monitor. "Oh no." He chokes down his vomit.

Lance gave him a glare from over his shoulder. "Oh no - fix now, puck later!"

"I lost contact. The shaking is interfering with our sensors." Pidge said.

"Damn it Lance, keep this thing steady!" Sakura yelled as she glared at him. "This thing is as shaking as a rollor coaster!"

"Come on, Hunk!" Lance yelled, ignoring her as Hunk tried.

"It's not responding. Ugh." He unbuckles his seatbelt to fix the stablizer, just as Lance's monitor activates.

"Oh, never mind!" He quickly turns to face the front. "Thar she blows. Perparing for approach on visual."

"I don't think that's advisable with our current mechanical and. " Pidge paused with a little sweat drop on his check as he glanced sideways to look at Hunk. "Gastrointestinal issues."

Hunk chokes down his vomit again. "Agreed."

"Stop choking that gunk down, Hunk!" Sakura cried. "Just throw up already!"

"Stop worrying." Lance said. "This baby can take it. Can't you champ?" He pats the simulator, but the machine starts to rumble violently. "Uh, see? She was nodding. Pidge, hail down to them and let them know thier ride is here."

Pidge unbuckles his seatbelt to reach the microphone. "Attention luner vessel - Uwah!" He cries falling and collides with the floor.

"What are you doing? Buckle your belt!" Lance scolded. "And Hunk, stop that shaking!"

"I-I'm try - ah-ah o-oh no!" Hunk vomits.

"No Hunk, not in the main gearbox!" Sakura cries, just as he does and the rumbling stops, and Pidge is able to grab the microphone and gets back into his chair.

"Attention luner vessel, this is Galaxy Garrison Rescue Craft One Victor Six Three Tango. Coming in for landing and extraction, against crew recommendations."

"Uh, no time for your mutinous comments now, Pidge." Lance said. "They're going under and we're going in!"

Sakura turns to him, her eyes grow wide at the screen as Lance dives the simulator towards the surface of Kerberos. "Uh Lance." She starts.

"Let me drive." He didn't look at her.

"Look out for that overhang!" Pidge cried in warning.

"No worries! My first year in flight school, you know what they called me? They called me 'The Tailor' because of how I thread the needle. Come around, and come around! Come on, come on!"- He's cut off when the simulator strikes the overhang.

"We lost a wing!" Hunk cried.

"Now I'm the one who's sick!" Sakura cried, putting a hand to her stomach.

"Oh man." Lance moaned as the simulation flight crashes and the simulation ends.

"Simulation failed." The computer spoke.

"Nice work, Tailor." Pidge told Lance, just before the simulator door opens and Commander Iverson appears.

"Roll out, donkeys!" He orders.

The four exit and stand before Iverson and the rest of their class.

"Well let's see if we can't use this complete failure as a lesson for the rest of you students. Can anyone point out the mistakes these three so-called cadets made in the simulator?" Iverson addressed the class.

"The engineer puked in the main gearbox!"

"Yes, as everyone knows, vomit is not an approved lubricant for engine systems." Iverson glaring at Hunk.

"He didn't have a choice, sir!" Sakura yelled, defending her friend, Iverson turns to her with a hard glare from his good eye.

"What did you say, Rookie?" He demands.

Sakura glares at him. "You heard me sir."

Iverson, and Sakura glare at each other for a long moment, making Lance wonder who's going to deck out who first. Finally Iverson turns away. "What else went wrong!?"

"The Comm Spec removed his safety harness." Another student answered.

"The pilot crashed!"

"Correct. And worst of all, the whole jump, they're arguing with each other! Heck, if you're going to be this bad individually, you'd better at least be able to work as a team! Galaxy Garrison exists to turn young cadets like you into the next generation of elite astroexplorers, but these kind of mental mistakes are exactly what cost the lives of the men on the Kerberos Mission."

Pidge quickly got defensive. "That's not true, sir!"

Iverson spun around again. "What did you say!?"

Lance quickly clasps his hand over Pidge's mouth, Pidge's voice is muffled by the hand.

"Sorry sir! I-I- I think he may have hit his head when he fell out his chair." Lance quickly said. "But point taken."

Iverson got in front of Lance, after he straightened up. "I hope I don't need to remind you that the only reason you're here, is that the best pilot in your class had a discipline issure and flunked out. Don't follow in his footsteps." He turns. "Next!"

"He didn't flunk out, you kicked him out!" Sakura said hotly.

Hunk was quick to pick her up, toss her over his shoulder, then making a break for it. Lance and Pidge quickly followed.

XxXxXxX

Sakura is sitting Indian style on her bed, sulking as she threw her stress ball to the wall and it returns.

"Hey, Sakura!" Lance's voice is heard from behind the door, and there's a knock. "It's Lance and Hunk!"

Sliding off her bed, Sakura quickly headed for the door and opened it. "Are you out of your mind Lance!" She hisses, as Lance slinks in grabbing and Hunk hurried in and the door closed behind him.

"We're sneaking out of this place!" Lance told her, as Sakura picked up her stress ball from the floor.

"Why do you do this to us?" She complains as she squeezes her stress ball. "You're doing it again!"

Hunk bobbed his head up and down. "Yeah!"

Lance had plopped down on the bed. "For some people in a space exploration program, you guys don't have much of a sense of adventure."

"All of your little 'adventures' end up with both of us in the principal's office." Hunk said.

"Like your rubberband war with Pidge two days ago, you both had mess hall duties." Sakura reminds.

"And when you took the Iverson's Jeep out for a joyride." Hunk added. "It was pretty damaged after you returned it."

"Or that."-

"Alright, alright!" Lance yelled, an irk mark on his forehead. He jumped to his feet. "Come on, let's find Pidge!"

He moved to the door, as both Hunk and Sakura looked at each other.

XxXxXxXx

Lance, and Hunk are hiding in recycling cans with Sakura hiding behind the two as a guard passes by.

"L-5 North all clear." He spoke into a radio, he continues on. Lance easily jumps out of his hiding spot, while Hunk tries to follow but gets stuck.

"You need to lose a few pounds Hunk." Sakura said as she had grabbed both his arms and yanks. "Lance, help me instead of standing around!" She yelled, irritated.

"Fine, fine." Lance walks over and grabs Hunk's arm, together the two start to pull on his arms. Finally after five hard yanks, the recycling can tips and falls over and the three fall to the floor. Lance and Sakura on their backs, and Hunk between them on his stomach.

"That was fun." Sakura sighed as they picked themselves up. "You ok Hunk?"

"Yeah, thanks." He nods.

"Come on guys." Lance said.

The three round a corner and Iverson's office door opens, Hunk follows thickly and hides behind Sakura as the three hide behind the corner, but it's Pidge walking out.

"Where is he going?" Lance wondered as Pidge hurried off.

XxXxXxXxXx

Pidge on sitting on the roof of the Galaxy Garrison, listening to radio chatter through headphones and special equipment. Hunk crawls along the roof, as Lance carefully removes the headphone to speak close to Pidge's ear.

"You come up here to rock out?"

Pidge yells, very startled.

"Agh! Oh, Lance, Hunk, Sakura. No, um, just looking at stars."

"Where'd you get all that equipment?" Sakura asks as she hugs her jacket closer to herself as she stands next to Lance.

"Yeah, it doesn't look like Garrison tech." He adds.

"I built it." Pidge said proudly.

"You built all this?" Hunk asks, he tries to touch the epuipment, but Pidge swats his hand away.

"Stop it! With this thing, I can scan all the way to the edge of the solar system."

"That right?" Lance asked. "All the way to Kerberos?"

Pidge looks away, not answering.

Sakura pushed her hair out of her face. "What's wrong Pidge?"

"You go ballistic every time the instructors bring it up." Lance added. "What's your deal?"

Hunk tries to sneakily touch the epuipment again.

"Second warning, Hunk!" Pidge growls at him, and he stops.

"Aw."

"Look Pidge, if we're going to bond as a team, we can't have any secrets." Lance huffed out.

Sakura could see that Pidge didn't want to talk about whatever Lance was trying to get out of him. She puts a hand on Lance's shoulder. "Lance, I don't believe he's ready yet."

"Fine. The world as you know it, is about to change." Pidge doesn't look at the two who are standing behind him. "The Kerberos Mission wasn't lost because of some malfunction or crew mistake." He sees Hunk trying again to touch the epuipment. "STOP TOUCHING MY EQUIPMENT!"

Hunk groans and sulks as he slinks backwards like a wounded puppy.

"So I've been scanning the system and picking up alien radio chatter." Pidge continues.

"Whoa, what? Aliens!?" Hunk asks, alarmed.

"Like ET alien life!?" Sakura was just as alarmed.

But Lance wasn't fazed. "Ok, so you're insane. Got it."

"I'm serious!" Pidge dug into her bag, and pulled out a notepad. "They keep repeating on word: "Voltron"." He showed them a drawing of a machine. "And tonight, it's going crazier then I have ever heard it."

"How crazy?" Lance asked.

Before Pidge had the chance to explain, the alarms blared, and Iverson's voice through the intercom.

"Attention, students. This is not a drill. We are on lockdown! Security situation Zulu Niner. Repeat: All students are to remain in barracks until further notice!"

"What's going on?" Hunk asked nervously, as Sakura spots something very big in the sky.

"Uh guys?" She starts, and her friends look at her. "What's that!?" She cries as she points to the flying object falling from the sky.

"Is that a meteor!?" Hunk started to panic. "A very, very big meteor!?"

Pidge grabs his binoculars. "It's a ship!" He exclaimed.

Lance snatches the binoculars, while Pidge still holding onto them, as Lance wanted a better look.

"Holy crow!" He exclaimed. "I can't believe what I'm seeing! That's not one of ours!"

"No." Pidge said. "It's one of theirs."

"What do you mean, 'one of theirs'?" Sakura wanted to know.

"So wait, there really are aliens out there?" Hunk questions, panicking.

"We've gotta see that ship!" Pidge said excitedly as he grabs his backpack and started running for the roof exit door. Lance and Sakura behind him.

"Hunk, come on!" Lance shouted.

"Worst team building exercise ever." Hunk said, before he relcutantly follows.

XxXxXx

The four had now hid nearby boulders, in order to get visual on the crash site.

"Whoa, what the heck is that thing?" Lance questioned as he looked through the binoculars, before he spotted something: a girl. "And who is that?"

Sakura sighed. "Only you would find a girl in the middle of nowhere."

Lance looks at her with an irk mark on the side of his head. "You are just as distracting, as any beautiful girl, and I concentrate just fine!"

"That's because she kicked your butt the first time we met her." Hunk stated. "Iverson was very impressed."

Lance sits with with the irk mark getting bigger. "Stuff it Hunk!" He shouts, before looking through the binoculars again. "Hey, where'd she go?"

"Lance!" Pidge slaps the back of his head to focus.

"Ow! Ah, right, alien ship." Lance suddenly remembered what he was suppose to be doing. "Man, we'll never get past all those guards."

"Aw, man, yeah." hunk said. "I guess there's nothing to do but head back to the barracks, right?"

"Wait!" Pidge looks up from his equipment. "They set up a camera in there and I grabbed its feed. Look!" Lance, Sakura, and Hunk gathered around Pidge to watch the video feed of a man strapped to a table.

"Hey! What are you doing!?" Shiro panicked.

"Calm down, Shiro. We just need to keep you quarentined until we run some tests on you." Commander Iverson said.

"Who's that guy?" Sakura asked.

"You have to listen to me! They destroy worlds! Aliens are coming!" Shiro yelled.

"That's Shiro! The pilot of the Kerberos Mission!" Lance answers her. "That guy's my hero!"

"Guess he's not dead in space after all." Hunk replied as they all look over Pidge's shoulders.

"Where's the rest of the crew?" Pidge wondered.

"Do you know how long you've been gone, Shiro?" Iverson asked him.

"I don't know. Months? Years? Look, there's no time! Aliens are coming here for a weapon. They're probably on their way! They'll destroy us. We have to find Voltron!" Shiro shouted.

"Voltron?" Pidge repeated the name.

"Sir, take a look at this. It appears his arm has been replaced with a cyborg prosthetic." A doctor said.

"Put him under until we know what that thing can do." Iverson said.

"No! No, no, no! Don't put me under! No! There's no time! Let me go!" Shiro yelled, thrashing against the table he's strapped to.

"They didn't even ask about the rest of the crew." Pidge frowned.

"What are they doing to him?" Lance asked annoyed. "The guy's a legend. They're not even gonna listen to him?"

"We have to bust him out." Sakura said.

"Agreed." Pidge nodded.

"Ah, I hate to be the voice of reason here, always. But weren't we just watching on TV because there was no way to get past the guards?" Hunk questioned as he raised his raised his hand.

"That was before we were properly motivated." Lance said, sitting back now Indian style. "Could we tunnel in?"

"That'd take too long." Sakura told him, folding her arms.

"Maybe we could get some hazmat suits and sneak in like med techs." Pidge suggested.

"How about just walking right through the front door?" Sakura offered.

"Or we dress up like cooks, head back to the dorms, sneak into the commissary ... little late night snack?" Hunk offered. All three stare at him.

"Stop thinking about your stomach, in a time like this." Sakura told him with a deadpanned look on her face. "We need a real distraction."

Suddenly there was a loud explosion, and the four scream startled. "I love this one!" Sakura smiled as the people down below scream.

"Is that the aliens!? Are tha tha is that the aliens!? They got here quick!" Hunk began freaking out.

"That's not for us!" Pidge said as he pointed to someone approaching on a hovercraft. "The explosions were for him, the Garrison's headed towards the blast, and he's sneaking in from the other side!"

Lance looks through the binoculars to see who it is. "No way! Oh he is not going to beat us in there! That guy is always trying to one up me!"

"Who is it?" Hunk asked as Lance ran down the slope.

"Keith!" Lance yelled, running down.

"Really?" Sakura asked as she quickly followed him.

"Are you sure?" Hunk asked as he followed the two.

"Oh, I'd reconize that mullet anywhere!" Lance said, half way towards the tent.

"Who's Keith!?" Pidge asked as he quickly packed his backpack and raced to keep up with his three taller friends.

XxXxXx

It was not hard to gain access to the tent, since it was now empty as the Garrison quickly ran to investigate the explosions. Once the four arrived, they saw Keith releasing Shiro's restraints and now holding up his unconscious form, with an arm over his shoulder.

"Nope. No, you no, no, no, no, no, no you don't. I'm saving Shrio." Lance said as he walks over and helps Keith holding up the unconscious Shiro.

"Who are you?" Keith asked, holding Shiro up.

"Who am I? Uh, the name's Lance. We were in the same class at the Garrison." Lance replied.

"Really? Are you an engineer?" Keith asked, still not reconizing him.

"No! I'm a pilot! We were like rivials. You know, Lance and Keith, neck and neck?" Lance tried.

"Oh wait. I remember you. You're a cargo pilot." Keith said, now reconizing him.

"Well not anymore! I'm fighter class now, thanks to you washing out!" Lance said smugly.

"Well, congratulations." Keith said sarcastically, not interested at the moment.

"Lance, stop goofing off!" Sakura growls, irritated. Keith turns to the girl's voice to see Sakura.

"Sakura, it's good to see you again." He smiles at her.

She smiles at him. "Hi Keith. Good to see you again too." The two had helped each other for a short time, before he left.

"Oh come on!" Lance complained. "You remember Sakura, and not me?!"

XxXxXxXx

I'm sorry for spelling that is not correct, I am doing my best on that!
