Harry had to cover his ears.
"Victoire, don't cry. Teddy will be here soon. I told you, he went with Aunt Ginny!" he screamed over his niece's excessive crying.
"But I want to see him now!" she wailed in between sobs.
Harry quickly ran over to the blonde little girl and picked her up into his arms.
"Let's go outside. Uh…..we'll see that new flower patch in our garden!"
"No! I want to see Teddy!"
"Oh come on, Vic. He'll be home soon."
"I'll wait."
Harry shook his head at her stubbornness.
Suddenly, Ginny Potter appeared in the living room with a pop, holding a crying Teddy in her arms.
"Ssh, Ted. Don't cry! You'll meet Victoire soon."
"But I promised her I'll play with her today!"
Ginny walked into the kitchen where Harry and Victoire were, whispering soothing words to the still crying Teddy.
As she walked in, Victoire's eyes widened as she stopped crying. She squealed and jumped in her uncle's arms, making him put her down hastily on the floor.
The metamorphagus heard the familiar squeal and rubbing his eyes, looked down at the beautiful blonde who was jumping up Ginny's legs to pull him down.
"Vicky!" he yelled in glee, flaying his arms wildly.
Ginny put up down gently on the floor, just in time for Victoire tackling him in a hug. Both of the children kept giggling as they tickled each other.
Teddy's hair was rapidly changing from red to pink to blue to red again, not to mention the slight blush on his cheeks.
Victoire's eyes were sparkling with amusement and she had the widest of grins on her face.
It was as if they hadn't cried their eyes out just a couple of minutes ago.
Meanwhile, both adults, Harry and Ginny, were shaking their heads at the laughing duo on the floor.
"I'll never babysit Victoire or Teddy if I have to put up with this," Harry got a scared look on his face. His wife just laughed and lightly smacked him on the arm.
"They are not that bad," she grinned, knowing exactly what Harry would say.
"Oh, yeah? You're just telling this because you don't have to suffer the unstoppable crying and irresistible pouts. Oh, the horror."
Victoire's part Veela charm was irresistible.
Ginny chuckled and stood beside Harry as they both looked fondly at the now rolling on the floor children.
Teddy Lupin and Victoire Weasley were inseparable since the day they met at a Weasley dinner at the Burrow.
"Teddy! Stop tickling!" Vic giggled.
Teddy did so and helped the girl stand up, just as gentlemanly as his godfather had told him to behave with girls.
"Uncle Harry, you said there was a new patch of flowers in the garden, didn't you?" Victoire smiled mischievously.
Harry gulped.
Bad idea, mate - he told himself.
Ginny glared at her husband, steam could be practically seen coming out of her ears. This made Harry gulp again.
"Y-y-yes…there is….but-" he was cut off by another squeal.
"Come on, Teddy!"
Both the children ran off to the garden in the backyard, leaving Harry to face the Weasley wrath.
"HARRY JAMES POTTER! We worked so hard on those flowers and those two kids will roll on them and run on them and do you even realize how hard it will be to bring them back inside the house now?! Do even bloody realize what you have done?!"
