Pairing: TsengxCloud
Warnings: Ooc-ness.
Cloud's footsteps echoed as he stumbled down the quiet hallway. He clutched his right side painfully, just below his ribs, and a small trail of blood followed him. He was looking for someone; a man who had chosen the worst moment to hide himself in his office. As he rounded a particularly sharp corner, Cloud ran into the wall and fell. His attempts to get up were in vain, and soon the blonde fell into an unconscious state.
When he awoke again, Cloud realized he was no longer in the quiet hallway, but on a soft red sofa. He looked down at his wound, or where his wound should have been. It had been completely healed, obviously by some of the materia sitting on the table in front of him.
As he looked around the room, he realized it was an office. Obviously, in the Shinra building, but he still had no idea whose room he was in. Finally, after attempting to move around (also failing at it), the door slowly opened and a man stepped in.
Cloud was immediately relieved when he saw who it was.
"Tseng," was all he mumbled as the man approached him. The Turk looked Cloud over carefully, to where his injury had been, before using a cloth to wipe up any other blood. With his sleeve, he carefully wiped away any water that had been left by the rag, and then sat down beside Cloud on the sofa.
"Do you have a headache?"
The blonde shook his head and blushed under Tseng's gaze. They sat silently for a moment; the only sound in the room was their breathing. It was Tseng who broke the silence.
"Why did you come to the Shinra building?"
Once again, Cloud blushed furiously and looked away. The blonde wasn't about to admit he had come looking for help from Tseng after his injury. After the Sephiroth incident, the Turks and Avalanche had barely come to a truce and only a few of them got along. Silence reigned over the room again, though several unspoken words seemed to have come to light.
Another minute passed; and then two before Cloud felt movement beside him. A hand found its way into his hair, down the side of his face, and then pulling his chin up. Cloud soon found himself staring into Tseng's dark eyes, his own blue ones wide and almost scared looking. Tseng pulled the blonde closer to him slowly, as if giving him a chance to pull away. When his mouth was only centimeters away from Tseng's, Cloud quickly closed the distance himself, taking the Turk by surprise.
When Tseng didn't respond at first, Cloud thought he did something wrong. Was Tseng just teasing? Did he change his mind? These thoughts and more ran through Cloud's head before the blonde decided he would pull away. Right when he was about to end the kiss though, he felt an arm wrap around his back, and another around his neck. Tseng was kissing back now, more passionately than Cloud thought he would.
After several minutes of heated kissing, the two finally pulled apart. While Cloud was trying to catch his breath, Tseng pulled him closer, so that once again, their faces were only inches apart.
"Rufus wouldn't appro-" Cloud began.
"Rufus will tell me not to do this and then leave me be," Tseng interrupted. "Don't worry about it, Cloud."
The blonde thought for a few seconds before slowly nodding. Tseng pushed their lips together again, but only for a few seconds this time.
"I should bring you home; Tifa will be worried," Tseng mumbled into Cloud's ear.
The blonde nodded once again before allowing himself to be pulled up and walked outside.
Once again, lame ending is lame. I don't seem to be very good at coming up with them so… oh well. This thing scared the crap out of me. I was going to edit a part before I uploaded it and I accidently pressed delete instead. Luckily, I remembered things can be restored. Yay. Anyways, review please. Good or bad criticism appreciated. Thanks!
