Before continuing, I would just like to point out that this an actual conversation me and my friend had. (I'm Skye, she's Fang. Just so you don't get confused...) But seriously, this could be true. You never know! It's crazy 0-o May write a fic later based on this, we will see. Enjoy! (Yes, we talk about this kind of stuff all the time. don't question our obsessiveness XD)
"I'm so bad at lying," Skye laughed. "I can't lie about anything." She was heading out of the band room at school with her best friend, Fang. They were chatting as they strolled toward their lockers.
"I'm a decent liar. Well, depending on what it is, I guess," Fang shrugged.
"Try lying," Skye said, wanting to test this.
"I'm inside Castle Oblivion!" Fang joked.
"Aren't we all?" Skye laughed. Then they both froze. What if they were?
"Maybe...maybe we're all inside Castle Oblivion right now..." Skye eerily looked around.
"Then, does that mean I'm a delusion?" whimpered Fang.
"Naw, we all are!" Skye laughed. "Wait a second...if we're all delusions...then whose memory is this?"
Fang paused, thinking about this. "What if it's Rhym's?" Skye continued. "She did make an excuse to leave..."
Both of their eyes widened in shock and intense revelation. "But, do the memories still continue even after the person has left?" Fang wondered, sorting out the whole concept of being nothing more than Rhym's memory.
"Well, we do fall asleep, dream, and then wake up every day, don't we?" Skye noted.
"So would each new day be another floor of Castle Oblivion that she's going to...or could we be more than one person's memory?"
Their minds both began to race. "That would be crazy! We're inside multiple people's memories!" Skye cried.
They continued walking through the empty halls. Not a soul was in sight, save for a lone student passing the other way. "I can't believe it..." Skye continued. "Rhym was the Keyblade Master this whole time and she never told us!"
"So that means that we're just fragments of her memory, stuck here inside Castle Oblivion?" Fang confirmed.
"I…guess so…" Skye answered. There was a brief pause before Fang shook her head.
"This sucks."
