"Listeners, Carlos is such a bad boy!" Cecil exclaimed into the microphone with great enthusiasm. Leaning in a bit closer as if he was whispering a secret to a friend and not a radio microphone, he couldn't help but recap that morning, "Well it all this morning really."
Waking up, Cecil stretched. Letting out a small grunt, he lifted himself off the bed, and groggily tried to find his slippers. Eyes half opened, he nearly ran into the doorframe trying to make his way to the kitchen for some coffee. Passing by the bathroom door, it was cracked just a little, and a suddenly awake Cecil was half tempted to take a small peak in.
But before he could, the shower had turned off, and a startled Cecil ran down the hall to the kitchen. Making his coffee, Cecil was a bit flustered at the idea of his boyfriend's naked body. Carlos was always covered up completely, and so Carlos could only imagine what he looked like underneath that sexy lab coat of his.
Without realizing that Carlos had walked into the kitchen, Cecil continued to wait for his coffee. The only thing that gave him a clue that there was someone else there in the kitchen was that the toaster had just popped up. Jumping slightly, Cecil turned to see his gorgeously perfect Carlos standing beside him making toast.
Carlos was happily humming along to some tune while he buttered his toast, and hardly even noticed that Cecil was staring at him. Suddenly something caught Cecil's attention. "Wheat bread?" Cecil muttered to himself.
"Hmm?" Carlos turned to him.
"Oh, n-nothing!" Cecil quickly turned back to his coffee that he was now pouring into his usual mug.
Chuckling a little, Carlos brushed back Cecil's bedhead hair a bit from his face, and gave him a kiss on the forehead. Blushing, Cecil had almost forgotten about the wheat that was sitting right next to him. Taking a sip of the coffee, Cecil wasn't quite sure what to think of this whole thing. Who knew Carlos had such a rebellious side to him?
"Cecil? Are you even listening?" Carlos looked at his boyfriend worriedly.
"Huh? Did you say something?" Cecil quickly turned to pay attention to Carlos who had a worried expression on his face.
"I said I was going to be a little late coming home tonight. I've got a mountain of work to do at the lab, which actually just so happens to be something on mountains, but that's something else entirely. I hope you don't mind," Carlos told him as he took a bite of his wheat toast.
"Uh," Cecil was yet again baffled! Where was all of this coming from? Either way, Cecil was pretty sure he liked it, but was still pretty worried about Carlos being reeducated.
Carlos was still looking at Cecil for a response. Finishing the last of his toast, he asked again, "Is it okay that I will be late tonight?"
"Uh, yeah!" Cecil quickly answered.
"Hey," Carlos suddenly seemed to change the topic, "could you pass me that pen over there? I need to write down a couple things for the lab before I forget."
"Can you believe any of this listeners? I mean, who knew Carlos had it in him? Of course there is no such thing as mountains, and such, but there certainly is something about it when perfect Carlos talks about it." Cecil couldn't stop rambling about how cool he thought this new 'bad boy Carlos' was. "How much cooler can Carlos get?" He asked in such a giddy school boy tone of voice.
