Well, we are at the second month of the year, the month where one special holiday is celebrated: Saint Valentine's Day, or just Valentine's Day. To celebrate the holiday, I made this little fic. Enjoy.

(Diaz's House)

Star walked down the staircase while she held a white gift box wrapped with a pink ribbon. The reason she held the gift box was because it was Saint Valentine's Day, and she wanted to give something to her valentine: Marco.

She never really asked Marco if he wanted to be her valentine, though, and there was also Tom in the mix, who was pretty angry about not being Star's valentine. However, after talking for a while and decapitating Tom's chimera lizard with three heads, peace was made...for the moment. Once she reached the floor, the girl walked to the living room, hoping to greet Marco with the box...

(At the Living Room)

However, once the girl arrived, she saw that Marco was nowhere to be seen. She didn't have enough time question where he went since the boy kicked open the door a moment later. This startled Star and the girl immediately hid in the hallways, taking a peek to see, much to her shock, how angry and worried Marco was.

"Jewelry, flowers, chocolate and courting! What I had to buy for Jackie was supposed to be one of those things! And for some reason I just can't understand, it seems all the Echo Creek stores don't have any of those things for sale! I need to get a gift for my valentine, Jackie, but I don't think it would be wise to give her anything but the four mentioned things. What am I going to do now?!"

Having heard that, Star sighed and went back to the shadows as Marco walked back and forth.

"So, Marco has a valentine already. And he is having trouble finding her the perfect gift." quietly mused Star.

Star glanced at the worried boy as he eventually stopped walking and he sat on the couch with a defeated look. She then looked at her gift box and opened it, closing it shortly afterwards and she begun to think about it...

"Marco's happiness is more important than mine." stated Star, who came to that conclusion almost immediately.

Having said that, Star takes out her wand and gently hovers it over the gift. This made the gift box be surrounded by a purple electricity for a moment before it flashed and...it did not changed that much, actually. However, once she opened it, she saw the gift was now one of the things Marco mentioned that Jackie liked.

Star came out of the shadows and walked to Marco without hesitation.

"Hey, Marco, I see you're having a little trouble thinking for a gift to give to your...valentine friend. Her name's Jackie, right?" told Star to Marco, who nodded sadly once he heard the question.

Star whistled and caught the attention of Marco, and she took this chance to show him her gift box. "Look, I found this little gift box laying around in the streets, and I thought you'd want to use it for something. Maybe you could give it to her?" said Star, blinking a few times at Marco as she said her hints.

"What does it have inside?" inquired Marco with a raised eyebrow.

Star gave the gift box to Marco and the boy opened it, exploding with joy once he saw the gift. "Jackie is going to love this!" exclaimed Marco.

The boy jumped up and down in excitement for a moment before he stopped, turned to Star and jumped forward, giving the girl a kiss on her cheek before he left running to the door. "Thanks Star!"

Having heard Marco say that, Star touched her kissed cheek as Marco left. She then walked to the window, saw Marco run to go find his valentine, and Star sighed and blushed in happiness.

"No problem...Marco." quietly uttered a pleased Star.
