A/N: Well. Another fic has arrived! Haven't been able to stop writing tonight... There were some prompts I used, such as:
-Photographs
-World
-Sad
Enough said. I hope you all have fun reading this! As always, all reviews are welcome :)
I stared sadly at the picture in my hand. Remembering the good memories that comes with the photo of us three. Ron, Harry and I. It was taken in our fourth year at Hogwarts. When we were all so close.
I don't what happened between us. It's almost as if we were friends one day, then the next, not.
I know what happened between me and Ron though. We were in love. It was a great relationship. At the start anyway. He was a good man. Then, he started treating me badly. Started becoming drunk regularly. And then. One day, I came home. He was slumped over on the table. The stench of alcohol overpowering the air. I tried my nest not to wake him. Then I heard him murmuring something.
"Lav, fu fu fu..."
I quietly made my way closer to him, listening intently for what he was saying.
"Lavender. Zzzzzz." In that moment, my suspicions were confirmed, and my heart
He had been cheating on me. My vision began to blur as tears started filling my eyes. One slid down my cheek. I felt as if my heart had been torn to pieces.
I ran up the stairs as quickly as possible, to go and gather my things. I was leaving. And never coming back. I used a shrinking charm to fit all my stuff in a bag. I didn't care how disorganised I was. I just had to get out of there.
The moment I knew I had everything, I bolted out the house and apparated to Harry's and Ginny's place.
Well. That was the end of mine and Ron's relationship. We haven't spoken in years. In fact, as far as I know, Harry and Ginny have stopped talking to him too. Ginny was furious at her brother's behaviour. Harry too. They were both great in supporting me. However. It wasn't long until they both got busy with their new family.
I was happy for them. Ginny gave birth to twins, both boys. Then later on a girl. At least I still get to see them all. So it's good that we have and are still maintaining contact.
Oh well. I'm just glad that my life has finally become busy too. About four or so months ago, I met Severus again. After all these years after the war ended. He has changed. He's become a better person. In fact. We started dating two months ago. I have grown to love him so much! He has become the centre of my world. I just love him so so much.
We have started a potions business. We mainly sell the medical ones, to a large range of wizards all over the UK. Even the wizarding hospitals that require a supplier. It's going very well so far. I must admit, that I am finally happy again.
I've been so much better since Ron has been out of my life. What a twat he was. Anyway, it's time to forget about him. But I don't think I will for quite a while.
"Hermione," a silky voice called, gently swaying me from my thoughts.
"Yes, Sev?"
"Can you come here? I need help finishing this potion." Well that's a first. He's never asked me for help unless he stubbornly denied it first.
"Of course. I'll be right there." With that, I headed to see what he could possibly be needing.
