Chocolate
It was the first chocolate he had ever received from a girl. And despite being bruised, battered and sore in every muscle and joint he had, he was happy. Actually, more than happy.
Bursting with joy and pride. He was sure his mood was seeping out through his skin with every step he took. He had well and truly earned his prize with his own hands. Alone.
He had chocolate from a girl.
Naturally his next course of action as dictated by his current state of mind would be to march right into class, with his thank you gift in hand in all it's brightly wrapped glory and brag to his comrades.
How shocked and envious they would be. But just as proud as he that at least one of them had managed to live the Valentine dream.
Finally.
He did not expect to see a room full of classmates with chocolate covered fingers and lips, bright cellophane and paper littering the floor like Christmas had come and the gifts had already been shredded open in the excitement.
It didn't take long for him to figure out what had happened.
They had gotten chocolates. From Yankumi. And he could tell it had tasted surprisingly good, from all the finger licking and satisfied mumbling, and what could only be described as smug faces that many of the group wore.
He looked for his.
It took only five minutes of searching for him to realise that in their chocolate-induced high, they had taken it upon themselves to take his and devour it before he had even set foot in the school gate.
It took less time for Takeda to loose any of the pomp and glee he had.
It vanished.
Like his chocolate.
OOOOO
Disclaimed.
First Gokusen fic. Not entirely happy with how it turned out.
It was meant to be much longer and franly, better. But for some reason, the ideas I had beyond the basic premise vanished and I really wanted to get this idea out.
For this choice of ship, I really love the idea of Yankumi and Takeda having chemistry that may have gone unnoticed or overlooked in the series. I noticed it from episode one, and really subtle things just fueld my fire. Or I am just reading too much into it. Either way.
I may be the only Yankumi/Takeda shipper in existance, but reviews are heartily welcomed as I try to improve my Gokusen ficcage :)
PS: I know they don't celebrate Xmas in Japan the way we do. Just go with it.
