Ballad of the Fox

A/N: It's been long since I have released a Poem. Well, well, well.

Summary: Ladies and Gentlemen, X-Philes and Lint-picking-Philes, I bring you....the Ballad of Fox Mulder!

====================================

.....There once was a Fox, so they say,
'Twas annoyed by his sis every day.
But one home-alone night,
Gave them both a fright,
And his sister was taken away.

This kid named fox was really smart,
So as soon as he can, to England he leaves
Where he hated his name from the depths of his heart,
And fell head over heels for the infamous Pheebs.

So, let's call him Mulder, this foxy young man,
Who is blessed with good looks and a good memory,
He hurries through Oxford as fast as he can;
And leaves as a shrink with a bachelor's degree.

The FBI sits up and raises a brow,
"Here's a kid, ooh," and they raise their head,
They snatch him fast, and before he knows how,
The FBI's happy and Mulder's a Fed.

Things happen quickly for Fox the Fabu,
They see he's too sharp to be one of those billers,
So rumors circulate down in the loo
And VCS throws him at violent killers.

So Mulder arrests them, again and again,
And gains reputation that's just a bit spooky;
His colleagues and peers hate him to no end,
They snicker and sneer and are sure he's real kooky.

It happens that while he's out chasing this villain,
Mulder hares out and needs help from a shrink!
He starts to remember and he's all too willin',
(Dr. Werber, of course, does not know what to think.)

His calling rekindled, Fox asked for the X-files,
And soon was obsessed with odd tales, fuzzy pics,
He swore to find proof that he'd known all the while,
So the guy with the cigs threw him this hot chick.

Her name was Scully, and she was a spy!
Mulder refused to award her his trust;
But neither was willing to believe the lie,
And they became friends in their skeptic and gust.

Their cases are freaky, their lives nonexistent,
But neither of them will just give up their mission;
Mulder will theorize, Scully will rant
They respect each other, and both of them listen. So goes the ballad of gallant Fox Mulder,
Always in search of the truth that's out there,
Against the odds, this valiant soldier
Will always have faith, not to mention great hair.

So, this is the end of this tiresome poem;
You've all heard the story so much, you can mimic,
Well it's over my friend, now you can go home;
Just let me end this short piece with a limerick.

.....There once was an Agent named Fox...
whose sister had long, braided locks....
She was taken away....
So he searches today.......

There once was an Agent named Fox.
