The undulation of his hips onto hers like a wave upon a rock filled her with a familiarity overpowered by an ecstatic freedom. She was thankful for her release from the cascading poof of fabric that was her wedding dress. There they were, two unabashed bodies, fulfilling their duties as husband and wife with unrequited excitement.

His hands searched her body, getting acquainted with each hill, valley, and curve. Down the sides of her back, around the outer portion of her legs. From each pinky to palm to thumb he slid his hands along her smooth skin, especially on the return journey to her bust and shoulders. His body interrogated hers until no secrets remained hidden. There were no questions left unanswered. Their faces only separated occasionally, to breathe and to adorn other areas of each other with admiration and desire. His mouth caressed her neck and shoulders while she tussled and buried her head in his hair. His head became surrounded by a waterfall of red strands, which he then swam through, clinging to handfuls of her hair. But even in that see of locks and simple curls, their two faces found each other, and their mouths reconnected like magnets.

He held onto her as though he feared she would disappear at the stroke of midnight. Both were breathing heavily, happily entwined, damp with lust. Positive chants and choruses erupted from her mouth. She kissed him once more and then sighed with an untainted smile of joy. He stopped thrusting as she lay out between his body and the mattress, showing off the prize whose heart he had won. His arms and legs created a sturdy barrier encircling her. They gazed upon each other for a moment, content to ogle in the memory of their most recent adventure.

Rolling gently over to her side, he pulled her to him. They lay, facing each other, her hands upon his chest, his arms securely wrapped around her, his fingers weaving within her tresses. Their hair was an unhinged and voluminous spill of auburn with a relatively small ink stain against the cream sheets and pillows. Here they stayed for a bit, their bodies heaving steadily. She spoke first.

"So this is what it means to be human," Ariel murmured innocently. "I definitely made the right choice saving you."
