Bella's POV
"Morning love..." Edward murmured in my ear on this rain Saturday morning.
"Morning to you too, Edward." I replied rolling over and kissing his cool, sweet mouth. He stood and adjusted his clothes then picked me up bridal style and sped down the stairs after opening my door. Slowing to a human pace he drifted into the kitchen. I smiled as he set me on my feet. Opening the fridge,
"Huzzah! Charlie bought strawberry jelly!" I shouted happily. Edward stared at me for a second and then his magical laugh filled the room.
"What?" I questioned
"Nothing love, it just amazes me that you can be excited about a simple squeeze bottle of jelly." He replied, his topaz eyes filled with happiness and love. Love that other girls wished for, and for some reason, I received. A smile tugged at the corners of my mouth and I turned to make my toast. Pressing down the lever I grabbed butter, a plate, and a butter knife.
"Be careful with that butter knife, Bella." Edward teased. "It might get you." I grinned and replied with a fake gasp and a remark.
"Oh the horror! It would be all over Forks, 'Isabella Swan, in the hospital from a butter knife incident'." Once again he dazzled me with his beautiful laugh.
'POP!' the toaster noised while pushing my toast towards the air. Butter, then you guessed it; strawberry jelly was smeared on the toast. Plopping down in the chair beside Edward I began to munch on the toast. Once I finished Edward chuckled once
"What?" I questioned.
"You got a little something." He replied motioning at his chin.
"What?" I asked once again tilting my head to the side. He sighed jokingly and leaned over.
"Here, I'll get it." He breathed on my face. There he goes, dazzling me again. Suddenly he licked the little glob of butter and jelly off my chin.
"That tasted slimy." He remarked with a twisted expression and I grinned with a giggle escaping my mouth.
"Better than the pizza?" I said between giggles.
"Yes," he smiled and stood. And with that he disappeared up the steps to choke up that strawberry jelly.
The End.
