TSUBASA SONGFIC
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted ANYTHING in the longest time. I've had writers block like never before + school sucks. it's basically a 2+2=4 situation put those together and you don't do anything extracurricular. Anyway here's another tsubasa songfic. Really obsessed with this anime…really.
NOTE: THIS IS BASED AFTER THE MANGA SO THIS MAY SPOIL IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE MANGA. (I used they're other names instead of Tsubasa because its just easier. lol)
Copyright clamp for the anime
Copyright Ikimono Gakari for the song Sakura (it isn't the whole song)

The cherry blossoms fell, fluttering down
Embracing every bit of my fluttering love
Even now, I'm dreaming the dream I prayed for with you that spring
The cherry blossoms scatter
Sakura sat underneath one of the trees in her country staring into the wind. She was thinking about him again. It's been three years since he left for his journey and everyday she would sit under the tree and pray. She hoped that one day their memories would bring him back to this place. She longed for her most precious person.
We went our separate ways
And brought our spring to an end
My future is in full bloom
But it fills me with panic
This year, once again, the cherry blossoms are reflected
In the window of the Odakyuu train
In my heart
I hear your voice
"I…love you too." Memories of that last day would cloud her mind. Sakura standing in the desert as swirls surrounded him. And before she could say 'good-bye' he was gone. She held her hands to her chest and stood up. A tear ran down her cheek. "No" she shook it off. This happened every time she prayed underneath the tree and she wouldn't let it happen again. "Syaoran…." she tried to remember his face. His voice. His touch.
The start of my letter to you
Says "I'm doing OK"
You'll see through that little lie, won't you?
Even the town going past
Is taking in the spring
The flowers are opening their buds again this year
She tried to keep her strength up. Not to break down. She promised him that she'd be ok. She could go on without him. Was that true? Could she really last not being able to see him? He promised he would return but how long would she have to wait.
I'll get through these days without you
And I, too, will grow up
Will I forget everything?
"I really loved you"
I hold out my hands to the cherry blossoms
Now my love is wrapped in the spring
Time had passed. It'd been so long since she'd seen him. Sakura's eyes widened. Her hands came to her mouth. "What if…" she thought. It had been so long since she'd seen him and she wasn't sure what had happened. She closed her eyes and those tears she tried so hard to hide were forced out. She shook her head slowly. She refused to believe in this lie she was creating. She prayed for his safety. She prayed he'd be alright.
The cherry blossoms fall, fluttering down
And I walk out into the spring
I clutch the dream I promised you that spring
Tightly to my chest; the cherry blossoms dance
A strong wind came from the east of the tree. Sakura turned around surprised by such sudden weather. As she turned a strong light emerged and she could hardly see what was going on. When it subsided she rubbed her eyes to see three figures and a small creature with them. The shorter figure stepped forward. Sakura had tears running down her face. The boy stepped forward. "Sakura-hime…"
