Hello again to all! I finally have a happy addition the fandom! For once! Shocker, right? But there have been so many cute stories flying around lately that I felt bad for my own sad story. Therefore, I decided it was time to put happy Jackrine into my life. This is a short little thing I wrote, and I wanted to experiment with just dialogue and short descriptions. It's different, but I like it...anyway, enough rambling.

Enjoy!

"Hey, Ace, you seein' what I'm seein'?" (a sly smile)

"Jack, that's a leaf tied to a string and nailed above the doorframe." (an overhead glance and a smirk)

"No, it ain't! That right there is mistletoe!" (a fake, indignant gasp)

"It is not, you idiot." (a light shove)

"It is, too! An' you know what that means..." (a raise of the eyebrows)

"Just because I do doesn't mean you're going to get what you're after." (a playful smile and crossed arms)

"Aw, c'mon, Ace! Don't tease me like that!" (a pair of doe eyes and a pouting lip)

"And don't give me that face, Jack Kelly. I won't be swayed by your boyish charm." (a determined facade)

"So you thinks I'm charmin', huh?" (a triumphant grin)

"Oh, shut up..." (another weak push and a laugh)

"I can't believe it's so hard ta get you ta kiss me on Christmas! And here I thought you was crazy 'bout me!" (a disbelieving shake of the head)

"Well, you thought wrong, Mr. Kelly." (a smug smirk)

"Ah, you'll come around." (a dismissive wave and knowing glance)

"You think so, do you?" (a hand on the hip)

"'Course. You can't resist me, Ace, don't try an' deny it." (a teasing tone and an immodestly wicked grin)

"I beg to differ! You're the one who shows up at my apartment every chance you find!" (a good-natured yet accusing stare)

"Well, you just got such a nice place, I can't help it." (an indifferent shrug)

"You are the most impossible boy-" (an irritated huff)

"Ever?" (an amused chuckle)

"Yes, ever." (a lovingly annoyed sigh)

"So, where do we stand on that kiss, huh?" (a hopeful, sheepish glance)

"You tell me." (a quiet smile and a hand placed in his)

"Well, how am I supposed to-" (a beautiful silence in which a gift is both granted and recieved)

"Merry Christmas, my impossible boy."

"Merry Christmas, my one in a million Ace."

(a kiss which means so much more than words can say.)
