Their last visit to the hospital, on the occasion of Ron's birth had been quite a disaster. Ron's overlarge,
lumpy head caused a great deal of difficulty for the doctors and a great deal of pain for Mrs Weasley. Indeed, the method in which he was extracted from Molly's womb, a Summoning Charm, was to result in Ron's obvious mental deficiency and generally unattractive features.
Of course, this amusing and painful incident paled in comparison to the birth of Fred and George. Arthur,
indulging his love for all things Muggle, persuaded his wife (with judicious use of the Imperius Curse) into allowing him to conduct the birth utilising Muggle methodology. However, as Arthur's knowledge of Muggle science was somewhat ... skewed the result was a homebirth using a fishing net, a sandwich press and 50 000 volts. Needless to say, it was not Molly's favourite day.
