Walking down the hall, a whole pizza balanced on his left arm and one of the slices in his right hand, Hermes walked back to his office from the kitchen. He stopped to watch Archie training, still chewing a large mouthful of pizza.

"Hello, Archie!" he waved at him, after swallowing.

"Uhh….Hi, Mr. Hermes?" Archie was looking at him strangely, but Hermes didn't seem to notice. He continued on his way, needing to get back to his various communications devices and not wanting to disturb Archie's training anymore. Atlanta was coming in to train anyways, so it wasn't like he was going to need his company.

"Hello, Atlanta, how are you this fine day?"

"I'm fine, Mr. Hermes…are you feeling ok?" Atlanta was giving him the same funny look, but she seemed to be hiding a smile.

"I'm doing just fine, thank you, why do you ask?" He took another bite of pizza, finishing off the slice, and gave her a quizzical look.

"Oh…well, no, nothing, you just look a little…red, but I guess it's really hot in here anyways" She jogged off to train with Archie.

Shrugging his shoulders, but happy for her concern, he continued on his way. He had several such encounters on his way to his office until finally he met Hera. She looked alarmed at him.

"Hermes! What on earth happened to your face!?"

He turned and looked at his reflection in the glass of a painting on his right. Aside from looking like a chipmunk with his cheeks puffed out and full of pizza, the only other strange, or as Hera put it, alarming, thing about his face was the red streaking in a solid bar from his eyebrows to nearly the bottom of his nose, like a sunburn pattern.

Swallowing his mouthful he looked guiltily down at what was left of the pizza on the plate.

"I love watching the crust rise…"

Disclaimer: I don't own Class of the Titans, or the characters therein. Nor do I own Delicio pizza or their rising crust pizza which apparently causes bars of red across your face as you watch it rise in the oven. Just pity Hermes and his new tan.
