An attempt to get myself out of... whatever it is I'm in.
Mike/Alex
Nightmares
He scowled with his nose curled up in a viscious manner. A clenched fist prepared to lay the smack down on an unknowing target. "Mike?" Her voice brought him out of his thoughts, bringing him back to reality. "What are you doing?" Alex Eames asked him, peering over him with an amused look on her face. Her arms folded as she awaited an answer.
Mike Logan glanced at her and back at the computer. "What does it look like?"
"It looks like you're about to kill that thing. That or arrest it." She smirked, not bothering to even hide how much she found this funny.
"Look, this thing is a demon, a pure demon."
"It's a computer. Demon is a bit of a stretch."
"No, it's not. It's been crashing all week. I'm gonna start having nightmares about demonic computers for the rest of my life." Mike exaggerated.
Alex snorted, "Start?"
This caused Mike to study her intensely, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"You were screaming about computers last night."
"You lie." Mike accused her.
"I would never!" Feigning offence, she placed a hand to her chest. "Trust me." Mike scowled and turned back to the computer, smashing at the keys. "Have you tried giving it tender, loving care as opposed to... that." She gestured to his hands.
"It's a computer! I only give tender, loving care to women." Alex raised her brow, which he spotted and quickly added, "I only give tender, loving care to you."
Alex smirked, shaking her head in an amused way she walked back to her desk.
