I watched it play out from the shadows. I always have. At times, I feel like they know I am there, but they never do anything. For that, I am grateful. I do not wish to speak to anyone, merely watch and offer my secret aid if necessary. Rarely do they need my help though, they are worthy of a noldarian kingship, not I. If only they'd been there back then. Maybe the outcome of the Jewel War would've been different. That is foolish and wishful thinking.
I watch him...he reminds me so strongly of Elros. I will protect him to my dying breath if needs be. I will die for him...this descendent of Elros, son of EƤrendil. I have watched from the shadows since Maedhros died. Now...now, I will step into the light and fight openly. This man, this lost king, this descendent of he who is dear to me has done so. If he can unveil the truth and embrace his destiny, then I will fight to see it through to the end if I am blessed to survive that long. I will spring from the shadows and uncover the fire my father gifted to me. No more will I hide it. A light from the shadows shall spring...(1)
