Hazel eyes stared at the girl in the cell next to him. She was so calm and serene it was almost scary, her shoulders rising and falling with every soft breath she took.

"Hey..." a voice whispered causing her eyes to peel open as she leaned forward and ran her finger across the ground "Hey..."

"What?" her voice sounded irritated and it made a shiver run up his spine.

"I don't think I know who you are." His breath hitched as she stood up and walked toward him,

"I've been going to your school my whole life. Are you sure you've never heard of me?" A shiver ran down his back as she leaned leisurely against the bars,

"You're that girl that is always on her computer aren't you?"

"I am."

"Well..." He gulped audibly as he took in her low rise jeans, studded belt, and white tank top that was speckled with dirt, "C-can I know your n-name?"

"If you didn't bother to know me then. Why know me now?" She pushed away from the bars and walked back to the wall, as he pondered her words 'If you didn't bother to know me then. Why know me now?' He closed his eyes softly, thinking back to when they had first arrived in this jail cell where death is hanging over their heads like a veil, and the promise of eternal pain is standing in plain sight.

82 hours earlier

The walls vibrated with the intensity of the rock and roll song that reverberated throughout the room, the house's owner dancing around carelessly, "TORA!" the loud scream was barely filtered above the speakers "TORA!" movement ceased behind the door, the only noise remaining was the sound of many locks being undone, "Yes?" The owner of the room asked as he peeked out from behind the door, "Oh... Murasaki. What are you doing here?"

"Your music is too loud Tora. " A sheepish smile covered his whiskered cheeks as he ran his hand through his orange hair "I'm sorry Murasaki."

"You better be." She turned away her hips swaying from side to side, but all movement stopped once more as they heard a triumphant yell come from three doors down. A knowing smile found it's way to Murasaki's face, sighing softly she knocked on the door. Unlike with Tora the young girl answered immediately "Yes Murasaki?"

"What are you doing?" A delicate eyebrow was raised as the small girl smiled sheepishly "P-playing a-a computer game." She blushed as she noticed Tora who was listening, his eyes wide. Murasaki smiled and poked her in the forehead, "Calm down Cousin. I'll be back after my rounds.

"Murasaki-san you're the best RA~!" The small girl yelled as she jumped in place then closed the door disappearing into the recesses of the room.

Tora stood dumbfounded, his face the overall picture of shock as the purple haired girl turned and continued her rounds, "Wait!" Tora yelled causing Murasaki to turn to face him "You're her cousin?"

"Yes."

"But her clan is dead. Right?" She sighed as she shook her head.

"Yes her clan is dead... But I'm a relative from a different clan."

"Wh-Who is she?!" Murasaki's eyes widened slightly before she quickly turned her back to him, "If you don't know by now. Then you don't care to know, but she know's a lot about you." Her smirk was evident in her tone as Tora's eyes widened and his hands clenched at his sides, "What are you talking about?" He whispered before Murasaki looked over her shoulder,

"Like your little business you do." she said as another shout came from the room beside them immediately followed by a triumphant laugh. The childish behavior caused Murasaki to smile and shake her head "She'll be up all night on that game it comes from her mother, and her older brother." She muttered to herself as she left to finish her rounds. This time Tora didn't object to her leaving.

Fushichou sat in her desk, her computer poised directly in front of her face as usual, but the monitor was off. Nothing was playing across the screen, she wasn't typing, she wasn't playing, she just sat there her eyes downcast as the teacher passed her. He gave her a wary look then turned toward the problem at hand; In the back of the room Tora was fast asleep, snoring slightly, and completely oblivious to all the eyes who were staring at him. "Sensei." A small voice stopped the teacher "Sensei?" Fushichou said as she caught the attention of their teacher, "Let me try something... Please?"

"Fine." He sighed and made his way back up to his desk, taking a seat in his normal overly comfy leather chair. Every student in the classroom allowed their eyes to widen as they watched Fushichou set to work, pulling out her light blue touchscreen phone and hook it up to her computer, "Prepare for a rude awakening Tora." She giggled to herself and quickly using the wireless interface in her phone to hack into Tora's orange touchscreen phone and steal his number, "What are you doing?" Tsuki asked quietly as she watched Fushichou hit the 'call' button.

Giggles emanated throughout the room as Tora jumped in his seat as his phone went off vibrating against his leg, "Dang it." he whispered as he pulled his phone out of his pocket, unaware of the teachers steely gaze on him. After haphazardly glancing around to make sure no one was watching him, he slouched down in his desk and answered the frantically vibrating machine, "Dang it you. I'm in class! What could you possibly want?

"You're in trouble." a high alto voice said before his phone clicked, leaving Tora speechless as he glanced around the room once again, seemingly looking for the owner of that angelic voice, "What? What was that all about?" He whispered to himself as he straightened up in his seat and grabbed his pencil.

"Igarashi!" Tora jumped as the teacher's voice broke the sleep induced haze his mind had been wrapped in, "Not only did you fall asleep in my class, but you answered a phone call!" Tora chuckled nervously, "What do you have to say for yourself?"

"Uhh.." Tora began as he began to frantically search the room to divert the attention to. After a while he was just about to give up before his eyes fell on the brown haired girl in the front row. Her fingers were typing away on the keyboard as she slowly wound up the adapter cord that was connected to a bright blue touch screen phone sitting in plain sight, right next to the PC, "That girl has her phone too!" he said, thankful for the distraction.

"She had to use it to wake you up." The teacher yelled, causing his eyes to widen, the words echoing in his mind 'You're in trouble.'

I'm sorry Igarashi but I have to escort you to the headmasters office." Fear filled Tora's eyes as the teacher placed his hands on his shoulders and motioned for him to follow.

Present

Tora looked at the girls face once again, her eyes were closed as if she was asleep, her breath ghosted over the bars in front of her as she coughed slightly. "Hey." Blue eyes showed themselves once more, "Please let me know your name. I know you've got no one else. Murasaki was killed in the shootings." Tora mumbled as he watched her turn away from him, her face buried in the crook of her shoulder, "wasn't she your cousin or something?"

"Yes Murasaki was my cousin." She didn't turn to look at him, she just kept her face hidden from his view. He opened his mouth to say more but found he had nothing else to say to her, as she shifted to the point her entire side was resting against the wall, and her back was facing him. "Murasaki was my cousin, as well as my sister, my mother, and more importantly my family. She knew me not for what I looked like on the outside, but the intelligence that I harbored on the inside." She placed a hand over her chest and closed her eyes once more.

Doors creaked in the distance, the silence between them often broken by small gasps and slight screams coming from somewhere in the darkness that surrounded them. Tora jumped slightly as heavy boots slammed down above them, shivering slightly he looked back over to the girl in the cell next to him, "I want to go home." He mumbled, only getting a shrug as a reply "Don't you?" Quickly Tora jumped back as he watched her spin quickly, her leg stretching out and one foot slamming against the bars, "Wouldn't you like to go home?" He repeated timidly as he came in contact with angered blue eyes.

"No." She said softly, obviously trying to hold her anger back, "I don't want to go home."

"Why wouldn't you want to go home?"

"I don't have a home okay!" Fushichou yelled, her voice echoing across the cemented walls and metal bars, "I lived with Murasaki in the RA's dorms before she was shot! I have since I was little, so quit flaunting your life mister I-have-everything-I-want-and-everyone-knows-me-because-I'm-so-cool!" Tora backed himself into the far corner of his cell as two blue wings revealed themselves against the stormy gray wall behind her, her fingernails sharpening to razor-like talons on her hands, "I'm tired of being overlooked because I'm the 'geek!' You overlooked me because I always have a computer in front of me!" Her eyes were darkening, rage clouding her better judgement, "I'm tired of people coming to me just because they messed up and needed someone to hack the schools mainframe or a Facebook account, Twitter, Myspace, WHATEVER!"

"I didn't know that you were used like that.." Tora said softly as he hugged his knees to his chest, the wings vanished as fast as they had appeared, the talons shortening as her eyes widened and tears overtook her vision, blood mixing with the salty tears before spilling from her left eye, "Are you Okay?" Tora gasped reaching over and wiped the blood off of her cheek with his thumb. She flinched into the touch, her eyes closing and her body shaking as Tora tenderly ran his thumb over her cheek, 'She's been alone for far too long. I remember the look on her face when she first saw Murasaki's body. She was so heartbroken... Now I know why. Murasaki was her only family. Her only friend.' Tears pricked at the back of his vision, threatening to fall down his cheeks and onto the cement floor below 'She's been so alone. Her computer her only source of human interaction now.'

75 Hours earlier

Tora sighed as he pondered the threat that hung over his head "Expulsion? Expulsion for what?" he leisurely walked through the halls, climbing the stairs till he made it to the third floor, then traveled down the corridor till he reached his room, the white board hung in plain sight, dark black words read 'Call me for anything.' He chuckled at his own words "Yeah call me for anything." The words were true though, Tora was an excellent salesman as well as an exceptional scam artist, he could get his hands on anything, as well as using his exceptionally convincing persuasion to talk anyone into buying anything he's got on him.

"Pssst." A slight sound caught his attention, pulling him out of his thoughts, "Pssssst Tora over here." He turned slightly to find his friend Hebi, who was rapidly running toward him frantically waving his hands trying to get his attention, "Hebi what are you doing here?"

"I heard about your predicament and I might be able to help you."

"How?" Hebi chuckled slightly and pointed to the RA's dorm room, only four doors down from his own room, "in that dorm is a young girl by the name of..."

"I don't care about names." Tora sighed as he crossed his arms and looked at Hebi skeptically.

"Well you know her as a geek." Hebi sighed to himself.

"You mean the girl who is always playing computer games?" Hebi nodded his head furiously "Supposedly she's a code savvy." Tora's eyes widened exponentially and Hebi laughed loudly, "She'll be able to save your tiger tail." A door swung open and a girl raced out, the sound of two gunshots going unnoticed by the two boys. "That's her." Hebi said as he pointed frantically at the running girl.

"How did you learn about her?" Tora asked as he watched her race down the halls, and jump over railings, "Tora." Hebi Tsked, a knowing smile on his face, "She hacked my Myspace account for me." Tora crossed his arms and tilted his head to the side in mock thought,

"Why would she need to do that?" He asked as a knowing smile came across his face, as Hebi's face flushed in embarrassment,

"I had forgotten my password," He mumbled, a challenging smile beginning to form on his face "but she had retrieved it for me. She's done so much more too, from taking apart Murasaki's computer to fix the hard drive, to hacking the schools mainframe and saving Taka's butt from being expelled." Tora's eyes widened once more, "She's hacked the schools mainframe?"

"I'm pretty sure.." Hebi was about to say more when a gunshot echoed through the school, followed by heavy panting and a pained cry. Quickly the two boys ran to the railing separating the landing they were standing on from the seven flights of stairs below them. On the landing just below them they saw the same girl from before being backed against the wall "Kakusan you're the last one... We need you dead." A rough voice called out as she tilted her head away from them, her eyes wide with fear,

'She's gonna die.' Tora thought, as he saw the nine millimeter pistol being pointed directly at her, 'She'll die, and I'll lose my chance at ever being saved from expulsion,' He mentally whined to himself, before he saw something he never thought he would; two blue wings expanded against the dull wall, the light blue feathers fanning out to a majestic navy as they pushed the young girl away from the flat surface and lifting her away from the two masked males, just before the trigger was pulled, diving to the left to dodge the oncoming bullet, filling the air around her with a bird-like screech of "NO!"

Fushichou let her instincts take over once more, her body moving of its own accord and pulling her own subconscious along for the wild ride as she Jumped over bullets and dodged knives. Her main goal being; To get back to her own room, where she knew Murasaki was tied to a chair, steadily bleeding from her shoulder and shaking in pain. 'This is all a game for this gang.' She thought as she raced up the next flight of stairs, faintly noticing the two boys staring at her with wide eyes, "Get down!" She yelled, frantically motioning for them to get out of her way, as a knife flew by her ear and landed just in front of the brown haired boy in front of her, "I said get down!"

"You're not going anywhere birdy!" the words caused her to slide to a stop, her eyes darkening, and her wings folding against her back as she slowly turned around to face her perpetrators. "A bird? Is that all I am?" Her voice was dark and raspy causing the two gang members to shiver, as they loaded their pistols and aimed them at her, ready to fire. Fushichou chuckled slightly before she crossed her arms again, "I'm much more than just a normal bird." She whispered, bringing her fingers to her lips as they sharpened to talons, "So much more than a puny insignificant normal bird." she clawed at the air around her, waiting for the right moment to strike at the two masked men in front of her, "I'm the bird. You've shot me before, and I lived." She tilted her head in mock thought as she traced the seam of her mouth with her talons, "I wonder why that is exactly?" She shrugged her shoulders as the two men's visible eyes widened,

"You're that bird aren't you? It proves the blue wings." The smile was evident in his tone, as he watched Fushichou knod curtly, "Too bad we killed the wrong girl then." He mimicked Fushichou's earlier movements by cocking his head to the side in mock thought, "I always thought the Phoenix would be of the Akitori clan."

"You didn't!" Fushichou yelled as she heard the two boys gasp behind her, "You didn't!" A slight begging filled her tone.

"What? You mean Murasaki? She would have been nothing compared to you." The two men once again aimed their guns at her, "A Kakusan."

"NO!"

"Oh yes. Murasaki must have been your trigger. I'm honestly surprised you would've let someone get close. Especially after what had happened." Fushichou's body was trembling, her hands drawing blood from her own palms, "No.. Murasaki..." She whispered.

"HEY!" Another voice sounded, catching the two masked men's attention, "Get out of here! What do you think you're doing!?" Another masked male asked as he ran down the hall "We found her." Was the simple answer before the three of them turned and began to race down the halls, disappearing behind the walls. Tora watched as Fushichou dropped to her knees, her hands cradling her own head as she sobbed, "Hey..." He began tentatively, only to be stopped by a one of her hands. She took a deep breath and began to stand, wincing as her legs trembled, one of her hands going to cover the gunshot wound on her calve, "Leave me alone," She whispered as she motioned toward Hebi, "I know what you want." Tora's eyes widened slightly before he watched her stumbled toward the door she had raced out of only a couple of hours ago. "Drop by tomorrow." Her whispered words were laced in a level of pain and loneliness she never showed before.

Present (Again)

Tora watched as she twirled and danced around her cell, humming what he could only guess to be Murasaki's favorite song. Once again her eyes were closed, small drops of blood fell from her left eye, their only disruption being the space between her chin and the floor. He sighed softly as he watched her, only to jump when she stopped and looked at him, nothing but hurt showing in her deep blue eyes, "Why do you care so much Igarashi?" She asked softly,

"What do you mean?" He asked genuinely curious.

"A clan as noble as yours shouldn't waste their time with the last of a dead clan." She said almost absentmindedly, as she turned away from him allowing him to see the gunshot scar from the shootings. He was about to say something more, but was cut off as she began to rock her hips once again, the tune starting up where she had left it, as he watched her twirl and sway his eyes widened once more as the tips of her blue wings began to peek out from behind her shoulder blades, the low neck of her white tanktop allowing them just enough room to stretch without tearing the fabric, "You have wings?" he asked softly, unintentionally catching her attention, she glanced at him briefly before spreading her wings. "Clan trademark." She clipped causing confusion to dot Tora's eyes,

"What do you mean by that?"

"The Kakusan live by a legend." She sighed, "Though, it's actually a curse."

"Why hide it?" Tora leaned forward, till his shoulder was pressing against the bars that separated him from the girl across from him, "I think it's cool, they make you look like an angel."

"Try telling that to the doves and swans of my clan." She growled before setting with her back to the bars that he was leaning on, "Each of us are possessed by an animal spirit, obviously mine is the Phoenix." She sighed, "besides angels don't have blue feathers."

"Why do you hack computers?" Tora asked quickly as he noticed the tension between them become even thicker than it had been, "I understand you're alone but why?"

"It's what my father trained me to do; kill on sight, ask questions, and steal information." She began to look up at the ceiling, gently listening to the heavy sound of boots before all sound ceased, and time froze.

35 hours earlier

"I thought you were an expert at this. What is taking you so long?" Tora said as he lay on Murasaki's old bed, silently watching the young brown haired girl as she worked at her computer. A soft chuckle caught his attention before he fully turned to look at her, his hazel eyes meeting her deep blue causing him to jump slightly, "How long have you been staring at me?" He asked as she shrugged her shoulders, "are you even done yet?"

"I've been done for a while now." Tora scrunched his nose in displeasure, "You're creepy." he said as he lay back against the cream colored wall, that the purple bed was resting against.

"I get that a lot." She said seemingly unaffected, "Okay now come over here I'll need your help for this part." She motioned for him to come and sit down next to her, Tora obliged and took a seat right next to the girl, "My name is Fushichou by the way." she said as she glanced at him out of the corner of her eye,

"Yeah yeah just keep working." He motioned toward the computer, "Okay..." he heard her sigh, and only rolled his eyes, "How long is this going to take anyway?"

"Your file won't be easy to find, but I think I can manage." She began scrolling through the files, only passing a few interesting ones before a certain folder flashed across the screen, causing Tora to jump forward his hands coming to rest on her desk as he tried to regain his balance, "Wait!" he yelled frantically motioning for her to 'go back.'

"What?" Her fingers halted on the keyboard, her eyes widening slightly, as if she had seen the same thing he had, "Go back." nodding she scrolled back till they found a file that was labeled in all caps, she suddenly froze, "That... That is the..." a slight pain filled her voice as she opened the file, inside were the names of all the people killed in the shooting that happened only a few days prior, as she skimmed the contents she noticed that each name had a respective price that was payed to the school, a bounty as they liked to call it, she flipped through the names simultaneously before she was forced to freeze, her hands refusing to move anymore. The single name that was left on the screen was marked with the date of only a few days prior at the exact same location the two students were sitting in now, Akitori Murasaki. The RA of this floor was marked with the highest bounty listed, anger boiled in Fushichou's veins, her hands tensing on the keys as she read the exact events that were listed in the time of the shooting, "NO!" She yelled, as she slammed her hands down on the keyboard causing the file to close, "Lets just get this overwith." instantly she found Tora's file, before she scrolled down to all the campus violations, not bothering to read any of them she quickly selected the list and deleted them, slamming her hand down on the desk in completion she sighed to herself, "Finished." She turned to face Tora whose eyes were wide with surprise, "Your slate is clear." She turned to fully face Tora and smiled as kindly as possible, through the veil of sadness their findings had induced.

"Murasaki's death has hurt you hasn't it?" His words surprised her, causing her mask to fall slightly, before she covered it with a nonchalant shrug,

"Yeah it hurts..." She began then motioned to the door "You can go now."

"Why do you keep hiding in here?" Tora asked, as he tried to find a reason to stay in the room, alongside the young girl.

"Where else do I have to go?" she asked as she walked over to her own bed and sat down on it, the silk comforter wrinkling under her weight. "I'd like to see your file." Tora said causing Fushichou to jump and run back over to the computer,

"No." She exited the mainframe quickly, straightening up to her full height, measuring a good five foot nine, only shoulder height on the orange haired man in front of her, "You need to get out of here."

"I saw something." Tora said, placing his hand on Fushichou's desk, effectively trapping her, "There was a name on Murasaki's file. " Fushichou leaned against him as if to push him out of her room, but paused as if she was silently contemplating whether or not to go through with the plan that was formulating in her head, "What name?"

"Well It was initials, actually." He rubbed the back of his head nervously, "'PD.'"

"I don't know what that means, if that's what you're thinking." Fushichou said stubbornly causing Tora to look at her, a faint sign of sympathy filling his hazel eyes, "Do you expect payment?"

"I wouldn't mind it, but you don't need to." Tora's eyes widened as he noticed she was trembling almost as if expecting something horrible "How much?" He asked as he began to reach in his back pocket for his wallet.

"No money please..." his hand froze, confusion freezing him in his tracks.

"Then how should I pay you?" Hazel eyes met blue once more, pain reflecting clearly in her gaze, mixing with loneliness and swirling around in those blue irises, "I think I know of a way..." slowly he walked up to her and placed his hand on her cheek, tenderly running his hands across her smooth caramel tan skin, only to immediately pull it away when she flinched, "You're not used to human interaction." he whispered, more to himself than her, "W- would this be enough?" he cautiously gathered her against his chest and hugged her closely, feeling as she trembled against him. A slight sob caught his attention, followed by the growing sensation of wetness on his chest, slowly he glanced down at the small girl in his arms. Fushichou's shoulders were jerking with each sob that left her throat, her head hung low and her hands tightly clenching onto his white shirt, "Are you crying?

"I miss Murasaki." She sobbed, "It's so lonely without her." tears pricked at the back of Tora's eyes as he listened to her words and pleas until they were lost into the cloth covering his chest 'I'll bet it is, and though I don't know who you are exactly... I know what it's like to feel alone.' He stroked her back gently, holding her tightly until he was forced to let go when she pulled away from him, "I'll accept that as payment." she whimpered as she frantically wiped her eyes, immediately turning away from him.

'Maybe I'm just like you.' Tora thought to himself before he closed the door behind him.

Tora sat on his own bed, in his own room, haphazardly holding the soaked shirt above him, 'How could she have succeeded in hiding all that from everyone?' He thought to himself, sighing slightly he lay the soiled garment down on his stomach, "I wonder who really killed Murasaki, and why they did it?" He glanced over toward his computer, the silver PC sitting innocently on his burnt orange desk, "I don't think it will hurt to find out what 'PD' stands for." he shrugged as he swung his legs over the edge of his bed before pulling the silver laptop into his lap and hitting the power button. Within seconds his computer was loaded, he quickly opened his search engine and typed the two letters; Officially sealing their fate.

Humming to himself as he left his dorm room, a smile on his face as he practically skipped down the carpeted hallways. 'I wonder what had become of that girl.' He thought to himself as he passed her doorway, he hadn't seen the small girl in over three days. He contemplated knocking on the door, but paused as he heard a soft sound behind the painted wood. He couldn't tell exactly what it was, having been a cross between a whimper and a pained groan, 'She might still be hung up over Murasaki.' He shrugged as he continued on his way. Smile still in place on his face, he made his way to the two revolving doors at the bottom of the Dorms. Faintly he waved at the RA of that floor, before hanging his key on the hook and grabbing a bus pass from the slot below his dorm number. "I'll see you later Tora-kun." The girl said softly before turning back to what obviously looked like her breakfast. The overall scenery was dreary, the gray clouds causing a darkened hue to be cast over the lands. "Is it going to rain?" He asked the air, "Maybe I should run back, and get a jacket." his hazel eyes were locked with the darkened clouds, obviously trying to find a ray of sunshine amidst the shadows. 'This weather reminds me of that girl,' He chuckled before stifling it as two headlights caught his attention. 'It only fits because she seems to cover her emotions,' Discreetly he glanced back up to the clouds, 'Just like these clouds hide the sun.' Immediately he was reminded of how open she was with Murasaki, "Calm down cousin. I'll be back after I finish my rounds."

"Murasaki you're the best RA~!" Her voice echoed in his ears just as a black Toyota highlander pulled up in front of him. It was only when it stopped and two men stepped out of it did he notice that two other men had been standing behind him. Smiling at the four men he stepped away from them, a feeling of uneasiness befalling him as their eyes discreetly followed him.

"I wonder if she'd let me as close- What is going on!" His thought turned into a scream as he felt two arms encircle his waist and he was pulled back against a black covered chest, "It takes a lot for someone to get close to a Kakusan." a gravelly voice caught his attention before he was blindfolded and gagged, suddenly he felt he was being lifted off the ground, his hands tied securely behind his back 'What is happening?' He grunted in pain as he hit cold metal, the impact causing his shoulder to sting sharply. He shifted as he felt the Highlander begin to move, the rhythmic humming of the tires underneath him rocking him slightly. As he was tossed with the wild turns and sharp inclines the car took, he accidentally bumped something. His eyes widened under their cover, something was within arms reach. He slid backward across the metal floor until he bumped it again; it was soft, the rough feel of fabric rubbed against his shoulder before it flinched slightly pulling away from him, he ran his fingers against it until he found a wrist that was once again pulled away from him followed by an annoyed grunt and a sharp kick to his thigh. 'That girl? What is she doing here?' He felt around for a moment and ended up finding more soft flesh, running his fingers along it before he was forced to let go. 'Yep definitely her.' He sighed and shifted so he was sitting back to back with her, almost immediately he felt fingers on his palm, they were rubbing insistently in a repeated pattern, tracing something against his skin. Reflexively he closed his hand, only to have it yanked open again and the fingers becoming more fluid as she seemed to get control of her hands. 'Letters?' He thought to himself as she began to rub his palm with the tips of her nails, 'She's spelling something out.' Upon realizing the new means of communication, he closes his eyes and began to focus on the feather-like fingers on his palm, 'W-H-A-T... D-I-D... Y-O-U...D-O. What did you do?' Blame was evident in her first message, but it took Tora a little while to catch on, 'W-H-A-T... I-S...G-O-I-N-G... O-N. What is going on?' After the last message was spelled out she laid her hand flat against his, trying to signal she was finished. Tora kept his hand still as he contemplated what to say, 'I don't even know what is going on. How am I supposed to tell her?' He thought to himself, 'I didn't do any-' his thoughts were cut off as she slapped his hand harshly, causing him to jump 'Okay, might as well tell her the truth. Now to do this she just wrote the letters against my skin, so I need to do the same. Let me see here; I... D-O-N-'-T... K-N-O-W.' He thought to himself as he gently wrote against her palm, feeling it tremble against his fingers.

Fushichou was shaking, though she refused to admit she was scared. It was obvious something was happening, but she couldn't tell what. She felt the movement of the wheels under her, the harsh jerks and inclines that the van took on the roads. After a while the van stopped, flinging the two captives against the back of the cockpit. Heavy doors were swung open and she was thrown over a broad shoulder, her body jerking painfully as he practically tossed her up and down against his shoulder as he carried her down some steps. After a few minutes she was thrown down on a cement floor her leg being the only thing to break her fall and prevent her from breaking her nose. Immediately she was, none too nicely, stripped of her backpack, cell phone, watch, computer, and anything else she could have used as a weapon. After another couple of minutes she was freed of her bonds and quickly worked to take off the gag and blindfold, freeing herself just in time to see them set Tora in the opposite cell and slash his bonds. "Why are we here?!" He yelled almost instantly after he got the gag out of his mouth, the cloth leaving a sour taste on his tongue. "You two have stepped into shark infested waters." A gravelly voice laughed through the darkened hallways, "I hope you're good at target practice."

"Why would we need to be good at target practice? Why are we even here?"

"My subordinate will explain more." The shadow said darkly, "As for being good at target practice. If you weren't good at it , you'd be too easy to hit." Tora froze as he watched the man walk back up the stairs, leaving the two confused, angered, and fearing for their lives. "What is going on!" He whispered to himself,

"You stepped into shark infested waters Tora. They wouldn't have caught me, if you hadn't..." She was trembling again, her hands holding her head delicately in her hands, her fingers buried in her hair. "Why do you do that?" Tora asked causing her to jump.

"Do what?"

"You tremble a lot as if you're scared, or expecting something bad to happen."

"It's cold here, the smell of death everywhere, and the fact that I do know this place doesn't help."

"Where are we, if you care to share your information." Tora joked slightly invoking a glare from the girl across from him

"The cell of the Purple dragons." Tora's eyes widened, as a gasp tore from his throat, betrayal enveloping him like a blanket, "So you did know what PD meant."

"Yes I did, but it was a secret I had stumbled upon when I was little." a stream of light cut between the darkness between the two captives, pulling both sets of eyes to the door as it opened slowly. "You first Kakusan." a voice cut through the uncomfortable silence that surrounded the two before Fushichou felt two hands jerk her up from her sitting position and practically tossing her out of the room, up the stairs and into another room.
