Hey! This is my first fanfic for Naruto. Review with love, not hate. Love makes the world go round, and more chapters come round.
An Old Ninja's POV
I was playing chess with my other elder friend when I looked across a meadow.
A young genin ran up a hill. Half the face was covered by a mask, topped off with a Hidden Leaf headband but I could still see that signature half closed eye and serious face. Silver white hair popped up on the head. The Genin had a white chakra blade that already, was being used with quick fluid movements. I smiled, Must Be Kakashi. The sensei followed afterwards with his blond hair and bright smile. And Look, I thought, Minato has gone to help him train.
"Chidori!" Minato cried out. I was confused for a moment. Minato couldn't use the Chidori as far as I knew, so why did he say it? "Yes Naruto Sensei" The genin replied. I was still confused, why was Kakashi calling Minato Naruto?
Then I suddenly understood. I had mistaken young Chidori Hatake for her father, Kakashi and I had mistaken Naruto Uzimaki for the Fourth Hokage. The differences between them and their parents were becoming obvious now.
Naruto only had one minute difference between him and his father. The hair. Naruto has chunky hair while Minato had fine thin hair. The difference became less noticeable as Naruto grew into a Jonin.
While the difference between her and her father was small, she was still easier to tell apart from Kakashi than Naruto from the Fourth Hokage. Chidori had shaggy grown out bangs on the right. Her mask covered her left eye, nose, and left cheek. Her hair popped up a bit right to where the mask covered her eye. The young Hatake wore her Leaf headband around her neck, in between the folds of her hood.
That Chidori Hatake was really something special. She passed through the Academy in only one year, like Itachi of the Uchiha clan did, and like her very own father.
I must be getting senile. How else would I make a mistake like that? My friend poked me on the sholder. "Make your move already, you old geezer!" He was getting impatient. "Alright, alright, I'll move. And don't you be calling me an old geezer, you're one too!" I took one last look at the two, that Chidori will be something great, I can feel it in these brittle bones.
This wasn't my best first chapter but whatever, I promise to do better next time. If you don't review I won't write any more, and I have big plans for this fanfiction, SO REVIEW! I got the idea of this when I was drawing Kakashi Sensei and wanted to draw his daughter. So when I drew it I think it turned out pretty well and I think she's pretty rockin, tough, and awesome like her dad. So I wanted to write about that.
