I was walking in the streets of Perth, Australia, when I heard this sound, it was just like that of a TARDIS, it had to be one. I peered into an ally way and there was a police box, "that must be a TARDIS" I thought - police boxes only reside in England.
A young man hopped out of the police box.
"Excuse me," I said to him, pointing at the blue box. "Is this a TARDIS?"
He stared at me in confusion.
"Yes," he finally said. "How did you know?"
I ignored him, "You should probably change the chameleon circuit, because there is no such thing as police boxes in Australia."
He looked disappointed, and ran back in for a few seconds, then came out with a big sheet of cloth, he hung it over the blue box. He smiled. "Thanks, do you want to get some tea?" He asked.
"I prefer coffee, but sure," I replied.
We walked to the nearest café.
"So, how did you know it is a TARDIS?" He asked.
Once again, I ignored him. "How did you get it?"
He sighed, "I'm a timelord, during the time war I 'borrowed' a TARDIS. Now I'm the last timelord, travelling in the last TARDIS."
I smiled, tears in my eyes, "You're not the last timelord, neither am I."
His eyes widened, the two of us took a minute or two to stare at each other in awe.
"Who are you?" He finally asked, after what felt like an hour of staring.
"My name is Amelia Lake, I got captured by the daleks during the time war, they kept me alive because I'm related to a man called the Doctor, although recently I escaped," I said. He stared at me again,"what?" I asked.
"Amelia," he said. "I'm the Doctor."
"brother?" is all I could say, once again, tearing up.
Later
"So, how about we go on some adventures or something?" I asked, as we walked back to his TARDIS.
"Okay, sure," he answered.
I stepped into the TARDIS and looked around. Even though I had only been in a TARDIS once before, it felt like home.
Chapter two
"So," My brother said. "I never knew why you actually called me the Doctor."
"Remember that whenever we broke our toys you would fix them? And you would always make stuff too."
"That makes sense," he stated.
After a while the TARDIS landed, there was a big bang on the door. My brother opened the door, "okay..." He said, and slammed the door.
"What is it?" I asked.
He grabbed his sonic screwdriver, slipped his hand through the door and scanned whatever was outside. I peeked over his hand, "whoa zombies!"
My brother looked at his sonic screwdriver, "actually they're microscopic parasites that reanimate the dead."
"Face it, they're zombies," I answered.
Dear viewer, I know it is a short chapter, but I felt like it needed to end here. I decided to show you the start of the second chapter because I am stuck, I'm not sure what to write next, so I'm hoping you have some ideas. If so please comment the idea, I will message you if I like it.
