A/N; This has been lying around on my computer for a while, I thought I'd post it because I think it's finished. Anyway, it's an AU, MMAD! Haha, I have a whole family tree for this couple somewhere ;)

Scotland was unusually warm this summer, Albus Dumbledore noticed as he stepped onto the soft, green grass behind the Manor. The sun shone brightly reflecting off the small lake thirty or so metres away from him. Though the scenery was spectacular, it wasn't what had brought him from the cool confines the large library had to offer. His concentration on what little paperwork he had (He usually pushed most of it onto Minerva), had caused him not to notice that the curious and joyous squeals that his youngest grandchild, and only grandson, had been emitting for the past forty minutes had ceased, until he had felt the need for a Lemon Drop, thus why he had ventured outside. His son and daughter-in-law had been sent on an important mission for the Ministry and had left their only child in the capable hands of his grandparents.

Until further notice.

Albus frowned, where had they gone?

He spotted a dark tabby cat darting around, quickly followed by a five year old boy with a head of black hair. Smiling to himself he moved closer and giggling met his ears. The tabby slowed down to let the boy catch her, but while she was just out of his reach she transformed into a black-haired woman, and was tackled to the ground, her laughter joining his.

"Christopher?" Albus called.

The boy lifted his head up, twinkling, blue eyes widening in excitement as they spotted him.

"Grandpa!" He squeaked, running over to him, small and chubby hand clutching a fistful of baby blue robe, he said, "Tag, you're it!" before taking off once again in the direction of the Manor.

Albus helped his wife off the ground before turning around to search for the boy.

"What brings you out into the sunshine, Albus?"

He shrugged, "It's a nice day, my dear."

"You didn't finish the paperwork, did you?"

Albus turned and saw the smirk on her face, "Perhaps later."

"You had better; I've done enough of your paperwork this summer." Minerva replied and glanced around looking for her grandson, she could see him hiding, not very well, behind a tree. "We have to teach that boy to more inconspicuous."

"It's almost time for lunch, perhaps we should go inside?"

"Hmm." Minerva hummed, "You are it, you'll have to get him."

Albus smiled, peering at her down his nose, putting his hand on her shoulder and quickly saying 'you're it' before apparating away.

Minerva glared at the spot he'd been standing; he always got her with that one.

"Grandma's it!" She heard him say loudly, pinpointing the direction his yell had come from; she transformed back into the tabby, and darted away.

A/N; How was it?
